Yes it was me! I disabled posting.
Total Topics: 2339   -   Total Posts: 30726 and we still haven't learnt how to be humble, kind and tolerant.

The forum has not closed, with that many posts I'm sure you will find something to read, once you have trawled through the "my god is better than your god, my god is the only god, whites are bad, blacks are bad, you are wrong I am right etc, etc, etc crap" that seems to be popular.

A pause for reflection upon our words and actions seems appropriate right now.

Before I start "ranting" I would like to thank all the members who have contributed to this forum ina positive fashion and apologies to any new users who have been greeted by this before they have even had a chance to get involved.

This forum's purpose is NOT to convert people to ANY religion!! It's purpose is to help overstand the complexities of the Rastafarian faith and learn about our different faiths, religions and spiritual beliefs.

Something needed to be done and although some could say I am punishing everybody just because of the few I really feel it would not hurt anybody, my self included, to step back and look at what we have made

Who here has read all the posts?

Recently I was going to delete some of the older posts, but my moderators advised me that it would be better to keep our history if possible. I agree, we need our history to learn, so what have we learned? How to be self righteous and bigoted? How to fill ourselves with an exaggerated feeling of self importance? Step back, look at what we have made.

Over the years I have been advised to "ban the bad elements?!", by whose measure, *relative bad or abosulte* ;-) It is human nature to gather together in small like minded groups, and since there are many cultures and beliefs here on the forum I expect that to happen, but to then turn against your neighbour or bicker about the "rival faction" .... Erm 2005 or the dark ages? What century did I wake up in this morning?! I'm confused!?

I keep saying look at what we have made, whilst I accept responsibilty for keeping the forum running, adding all the extra bits that you may or may not like, it is what we post that makes this forum what it is.

So what happens now? Upon reflection and reading some of your email responses to my actions I need to rewrite the forum agreement in more detail and make sure it is strictly enforced....... You need to do whatever you enjoy :-)

Jah Bless
