i kno this is an old topic but i think ill bring it back to life!

The sterotype that all british people love the queen and watch her on t.v and practically see her as some kind of idol that represents britain is stupid.

99.99% of people i know dont like the queen or just couldnt care less about her, there is no power over us that she holds, no1 really cares about the royal family.

interesting thread...i would say i agree with most of what ooo.oo is sayin...no i don't support the Queen...but i always say that you start with the self...if the self ain't perfect, then ya can't condemn no man...you can't condemn no man anyway actually...everyone is there own judge, and lives to prove who they are in the world...so the Queen can prove herself to be whoever she wants to be...and i must do for myself...the judgement is for Jah...my personal judgement is just to guide me along my way...and to learn from mistakes...yes judgement is a part of life, but man is not the judge of souls...man is the judge of their own decisions...so the queen go about her business and i got about mine...

oh...and she is still technically the Queen of Canada...which is why they said that when you were arrested and had her picture...she don't have any power...but she is the Queen technically

i appreciate this thread being started again, i wasn't around the first time .all interesting remarks i tend to agree with oo.oo, anyone want to comment on sellassie living in exile in england. if for no other reason, for the one i just mentioned england plays an important role in rastafarian/ethiopian history

finally.....someone with some sense speaking and it had to be an outsider. the queen barely has any legistlative pull....if you really want to get angry at british policy talk about the parliment but to judge one person who isnt responsible is horrible.

The Queens gonna be in my city tonight, what u crazy brits tink if i took ma clip down and busted a few on her, Jus heard there was a huge amount of people waitin at the airpoirt to meet her what a joke. Royalty haha She's no royalty the only royalty is King of Kings Haile Selassie I.

Well i wouldnt say kill her as no one deserves to die, but int do not particually like er, she is a imposter granted but no need to be killed, really its up to thoose that control babylon if she dies or not.

Bless up! His Majesty loved the Queen of England. Sight that? I&I have surely seen countless pictures of HIM together with the Queen, often similing. Here is a video of them together during an official state visit in 1954 (the queen also spent 8 days in Ethiopia with HIM in 1965). The I-s will see them together about 3 minutes into the video:

Those who say fyah bun de queen and all that are either new to rastafari or ignorant about the faith and who His Majesty really was. I am not saying that I know everything, but be slow to condemn.

this talk of the queen is ridiculas. the queen has no power, she doesnt do anything in our country. granted that the actions of our government and other common wealth governments are done in her name, but she has no legislative power and nor has the monarch in about 300 years. if any of you want talk about revolutions then talk about the governments involved, not some little old lady. I dont like the queen and i know for a fact that she has done many evil things in the past, but she has also done many good things for our country, when the bombs went off in london in july, the population rallied to her. not because she is special as a person, but she embodies the spirit of britain, granted the bombing were probably orchestrated but the point still stands. the queen is the figure head of britain and the commonwealth. did any of you stop to think about what it must be like to live a life of duty to about a billion people, without being able to do the things that we take for granted, like going out for a quite drink with noone bothering you.
i dont agree with our figurehead being left to a genetic lottery, and trust me the aristocracy is so inbred that most of them have the same number of toes as there horses. but at least our figure head does less damage, the amirican head of state (president bush) is responible for millions of deaths, and there is no shurking of responibility there, he is directly responible.
as well as that...MI6 are the best soldiers in the world so goin down with your clip and poping a cap in her aint goin to get off the ground.
but the main point is this, were is the honour in killing an old lady when you dont remove any of the problems associated with the problem in the first place?

I completely agree with Gideon, the queen is nothing more then a symbol of Britain, it has no real power, the power is in the parliament's hands, and the man who trully runs the country is the prime minister. So all ye people who go on and shout that the queen is  a dictator, that there is dictatorship, and that the british goverment is a fashist one then ye are just ignorant or stupid, and ya culture level must be real low.
 It might sound harsh, but ya can't go on shouting that there is dictatorship and fashist goverment in UK. ya people never really experienced what is it to live in a country led by a dictator, were as i have, my great grandfather and grandfather lived during the times when fashism was everywhere, they lived under fashism and comunism, i too lived under comunism for a while. So i no what dictatorship is , dont go on shouting foolishnes, just to make a point, a wrong point that is.
          Dont be so narrow minded. Ignorance and supidity are humanity's biggest enemies.

Wow, well I wouldn't advise you to shoot da Queen. I know you were kidding, but Babylon has lots of trackers on da internet, phone, etc, etc. Babylon takes ya seriously wit even a joke like dat. And even if dey nuh take ya seriously, dey wanna take ya down anyway, dey Babylon, and we RasTafarI. I nuh tink babylon likes us.

I agree, Selassie I is King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of da Tribe of Judah, not da Queen of England.
