Yo bling, one poster above said "Don't worry about making it out soon, just make it out alive." That is definitely the wisest piece of advice I have seen on this whole topic. Take that to heart. Good luck man, and stay safe! I hope you have a great career in front of you.

Can I speak as somebody that served time the The British Army and was discharged after realising I was a pacifist.  In the army you are taught to obey orders, how to make your bed, iron your uniform, clean your shoes - everybody obeying the same orders.  Marching to the left, turning together, saluting together.  Eventually you become one unit - your minds think as one unit and you lose your individuality.  The infantry at the bottom are expendable - in a war situation there are the expected casulaties of war and body bags are ordered.  The ultimate order that is followed in the army is kill or be killed.   I can understand the need to defend oneself  personally against an attacker, but I could not remain part of something that is prepared to drop bombs on people just because of the country they live in and the policies of their leaders.  Good luck Speedy - I did a lot of growing up during my time in the army - may Jah steer your heart.

Greetings One and All and Speedy Bling particularly....

I thank all of these ridiculous (and unrealistic) hollywood war hero films for the fate you have chosen here bredren....

You ever seen a war film? I'll bet.

I very much discourage joining this war for oil and power & economics......
Good cause you say? How so?

Bear in mind that you may be put into a position whereby you'll have to end the life of a person who is merely fighting because he is being fought against. A person with a family and children....this person may be there by necessity.

Tell I&I what you'll be there for?.....to be trigger happy? to be a hero?
I can tell you it's not necessity.

My personal opinion is that what you have been coaxed into (with nice bonuses) is a criminal activity in the name of Globalisation and power-mongering.

You are fighting a war for the anti-christs of our time....
You are fighting a WAR against the people of Jah....
You are fighting a WAR which will only lead to another war and more death....

I think Jah will have a place for you....when that time comes.

How right do you actually think it is? You would be fighting against poeple who take up arms through necessity...because they are being attacked...

Yet you are choosing and willing to take up arms for the sake of WHAT EXACTLY?
To get out of going through more education?? To be THE HERO?

You know....war does not determine who is right.....only who is left.
And war appears sweet only for those who have never fought.

Bear this all in mind bredren....

Hope you do the righteous thing and get out soon if not now....

Jah sees all, and feels all that you feel.....and the same for the man that one day you will shoot dead....remember, Jah is on everyones side.

Here are some proverbs to think about....

There will one day spring from the brain of science a machine or force so fearful in its potentialities, so absolutely terrifying, that even man, the fighter, who will dare torture and death in order to inflict torture and death, will be appalled, and so
abandon war forever
- Thomas Edison

Education is a better safeguard of liberty
than a standing army
- Edward Everett

War hath no fury like a non-combatant
- Charles Edward Montague

The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other
bastard die for his
- George Patton

When the rich make war
it's the poor that die
- Jean-Paul Sartre

The military don't start wars.
Politicians start wars
- William Westmoreland

I'm fed up to the ears with old men dreaming up wars for young men to die in
- George McGovern

War is too serious a matter to
entrust to military men
- Georges Clemenceau

The quickest way to end
a war is to lose it
- George Orwell

Think about it....

And do you Think Amerika will lose the war? No?......then don't expect the war to EVER finish!

Blood is on your hands already brother....but they have blinded you and you just can't see it!
- Natty_Fred -

Peace one and all.......

" Hey soldier, you left a pile of bodies there in a country you only arrived in yesterday, what did they do to you?

They're the enemy, Sir.

Have you ever spoken to them?

Of course not, Sir.

Never considered that they are just like you, with families and children and aspirations to build a better life in the face of the bloody dictator your army has been flown in to defend? [or the target the Elite want to remove].

No Sir.

Ever read anything about this country you're in?

No Sir.

Then how do you know they're your enemy?

My commanding officer told me Sir.

And who told him?

His commanding officer, Sir.

And who's the chief commanding officer at the top of this heap?

The President, Sir.

And who commands the President?

The people, Sir, this is a democracy.

How many of "the people" just told you to kill that pile of bodies?

Well, one Sir.

And who was that?

My commanding officer, Sir.

And who told him? "

Sir, No Sir.

this one's longer. the film shows soldiers waking up to the truth of the lies they were believing in. hopefully same will happen today. this is a good film especially for the young ones here, imo.

You must have one or two siblings...

Think of your brother. Would you point a gun at him and kill him for some bonuses promised by the power-hungry?

We are all brothers and sisters... I don't know how you feel, but EVERYONE is just as much my family as my blood family.

Good luck in the army, I hope you make it out alive.

Yu know what prison is like? I do. I've been in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for 4 weeks now and it has been pure hell. Only 5 weeks more and I'll graduate from basic combat training. Afterwards, I'll have advanced individual training for 5 weeks and then I'll go to my duty station.

Funny though how warriors on opposing sides are fighting for the same thing... just make me sick.

We living in the 21st century and people think they civilized and shit. The only difference between 4000 years ago and now is the destructiveness of the weapons. It don't even take a 4-year-old to figure that we didn't even move a frigging inch in the right direction during all this time.
