Greetings,
Here is the scripture
Lev 19 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
This scripture isn't talking about cuttings or marks in general. It is about doing it for the dead. People used to cut and mark their flesh when they were in mourning, so the scripture instructed them to stop doing this.

hmm then why is it seen as wrong to get a tatoo in the bibles eyes to some people? I always thought that that meant don't cut yourself to try and kill yourself but that makes much sense.

I think symbolistic tattoos are cool. Not bad symbols, but ones of love. I have always wanted a tattoo of a lion on my chest where my heart be.

I have 5 tattoos. I don't really think anything wrong with them but thats just my opinion. I don't like how babylon say that you shouldn get tattoo cuz then you wont be accepted in all jobs. I also don't like how the Rastaman say you shouldnt get a tattoo for reasons. Like they all tryin to say what I do with my body. If someone wants a tat then I would never try to convince them other. Kinda my way of just turning my back on things holding me down and trying to control me. By the way all of my tattoos have a personal meaning and arnt just a design. Bless
