I see many answers have been posted to this topic...Yet, nonetheless, none has come to the conclusion. Why ?

Well I surely hope I answer does not offend anyone but, true realisation of LIFE is layed upon releasing (have I spelled that right i.e., release) oneself of material things ! What did Iesus say ? What do all the "great men" say ? What does the FATHER say ? We (I included) are dependant on material - proof of which is why we all are here using computers to try and spread a message we still (Iselves) have not overstood. If one blind man lead the other we all fall in the pit - right or wrong ?
Now, do not overstand I wrong !! I find this a good way to get aquianted (did I spell that right ?) with what is going on but, not as something you should get stuck on when its time to move on....Learn and don't stop learning. Experience in, living in, what you learn (from the FATHER). HE will teach you much more than just the reading or writing about it.

Now, some may say well "I am doing Jah work !" Has HE ellected you to do it ? What is Jah works ? What has been told unto to all that we all do not do or can find out (of course with help - from the FATHER) ? And, going back to the subject of "questioning" (something that has again here been braught up in a somehow negative way) - how can one receive answers with no questions ? That is the blind way of "following !" I will question when I find neccessary, and believe I, I will receive an answer ! "Ask and it shall be given unto you."

Who should I ask ? The Moon ? Is it not HE who has created the Moon not able to give I no answer (this is not directed at u 12 TRIBE) ? Is He that has created the Moon not greater than it ?  Why should I not ask the CREATOR HIMSELF ? What is wrong about that ? Does HE not work through mankind ? So why should I not ask mankind ? There could be one here with overstanding to help I further ! Seen ?
U may all find I posting very contradictory but, it is very clear if u have overstanding. If not, I suggest u read it again and again.

Why do we (I included) all find it so hard to leave this material life - in order to find the TRUE SENSE OF LIFE !? I for my part have no financial possibilty (to get to where I think it can b done - as yet) but, I time will come and when it does I will do it...I FATHER is not material...and HE will help I in due time.
Of that I am very sure.

Sweet words may taste nice to those of no overstading but, I Fathers words will taste bitter to the wise (overstand?).

We should really be running on a moon calender.

Listen I Idrens - I have mentioned that the stars give I signs... I am not arguing or going against ur point/views but, it is not the basis of I question...seen ? Read what I have asked...None of u could answer it by talking about stars and moon,  because it is not about the stars or moon.. It is about THE TRUE SENSE OF LIFE = something else (not in the sense u or I might c it). Now go back to what I have wrote and read it please - otherwise u will not overstand...Do not try to have an answer for all because none of us do...That is nothing to be ashamed of. If I had the anwswer...I would not ask....

The purpose of life i feel is to live for the benefit of others and to uplift each other, nothing to do with material just pure love.

when tha i wakes up to go to work it is still dark while i walk to the bus stop.at that time sometimes the moon is full sometimes part, sometimes she shines bright and sometimes dim. everymorning i say 'goodmorning grandmother'. i greet her everyday. thas juss what tha i does.

with all due respect propht 7, what i offered(in tha moon post) has nothing to do with doing anything imo. it's pointing to be ing.

[I'm still seeking (like I allways have been)...but how long shall we seek before we find ?] i ask this with all respect bro-- what are you seeking? and "who" is tha seeker?

TRUTH, THE SAVIOR

THE things of the world and its inhabitants are subject to change. They are combinations of elements that existed before, and all living creatures are what their past actions made them; for the law of cause and effect is uniform and without exception.

But in the changing things there is a constancy of law, and when the law is seen there is truth. The truth lies hidden in Samsara as the permanent in its changes.

Truth desires to appear; truth longs to become conscious; truth strives to know itself.

There is truth in the stone, for the stone is here; and no power in the world, no god, no man, no demon, can destroy its existence. But the stone has no consciousness. There is truth in the plant and its life can expand; the plant grows and blossoms and bears fruit. Its beauty is marvelous, but it has no consciousness. There is truth in the animal; it moves about and perceives its surroundings; it distinguishes and learns to choose. There is consciousness, but it is not yet the consciousness of Truth. It is a consciousness of self only.

The consciousness of self dims the eyes of the mind and hides the truth. It is the origin of error, it is the source of illusion, it is the germ of evil. Self begets selfishness. There is no evil but what flows from self. There is no wrong but what is done by the assertion of self. Self is the beginning of all hatred, of iniquity and slander, of impudence and indecency, of theft and robbery, of oppression and bloodshed. Self is Mara, the tempter, the evil-doer, the creator of mischief. Self entices with pleasures. Self promises a fairy's paradise. Self is the veil of Maya, the enchanter. But the pleasures of self are unreal, its paradisian labyrinth is the road to misery, and its fading beauty kindles the flames of desires that never can be satisfied.

Who shall deliver us from the power of self? Who shall save us from misery? Who shall restore us to a life of blessedness?

There is misery in the world of Samsara; there is much misery and pain. But greater than all the misery is the bliss of truth. Truth gives peace to the yearning mind; it conquers error; it quenches the flames of desires; it leads to Nirvana. Blessed is he who has found the peace of Nirvana. He is at rest in the struggles and tribulations of life; he is above all changes; he is above birth and death; he remains unaffected by the evils of life.

Blessed is he who has found enlightenment. He conquers, although he may be wounded; he is glorious and happy, although he may suffer; he is strong, although he may break down under the burden of his work; he is immortal, although he will die. The essence of his being is purity and goodness.

Blessed is he who has attained the sacred state of Buddhahood, for he is fit to work out the salvation of his fellow beings. The truth has taken its abode in him. Perfect wisdom illumines his understanding, and righteousness ensouls the purpose of all his actions. The truth is a living power for good, indestructible and invincible! Work the truth out in your mind, and spread it among mankind, for truth alone is the savior from evil and misery. The Buddha has found the truth and the truth has been proclaimed by the Buddha! Blessed be the Buddha!

This was a beautiful thread to read and the first and last posts especially (thx Prophet7) are the sort that make I blood quicken.
Not too different from the way Herb and quickens the I.

I n I am In LOve with the Buddhist approach, and have just embarked on a jouney into the Dalai Lamas mind too, a, for your Heart and mine ponder along similar lines it seems......
The experiences I have had after crying out to the Universe those same Deep philosophical questions have given me Glimpes of the Answers......so here is I sharing......
 The purpose of life- (or part of, coz The question is Huge and a reductionist approach is of minimal value, language is extremely limiting, especially when attempting to convey Truth which is why I and I prefer to communicate thru music) but here goes.....
Is Bliss Of Being......The I -JAh in Fullness -In and Beyond form Is , and expresses I self thru Creation -Creative MInd - JAh as Source - Amuses Him/Her/It/Them/Ourselves for All Eternity endlessly Creating for the Joy, the Challenge, the emersement of Becoming, of simply Being.

Perfecting the Self is the Great Work and seeing as Jah-Source-Prime Creator is and Always was Perfect- Creation is Perfection perfecting Itself Itinually simply for the Bliss and Joy of Being and Becoming its Truthful Loving Self.

 There is no test other that what amuses the Creator, which We Are in Essense therefore we test ourselves for the enjoyment of The GAme/Self exploration/Discovery/the Story OF LIFE/BEINGNESS
JAh Loves All of Creation unconditionally, any Judgement is Self Judgement and is only of temporary value. Real Truth is Beyond expression in Language and is Felt and expressed more accurately in Musical Sound for This Language(english) is tampered with by Babylon.
Rasta Idren Chant and Transmit Truth thru riddim and Melody for this is a more accurate Jahful way to transmit Truth.
No wonder we get lost and confused when sharing Our Truth verbally.

Only LOVE is Real, Evil is simply ignorance and immaturity.

One of I Brothers/Teachers- Sri Pranananda tells I it takes a million lifetimes to attain Enlightenment, I do not suggest that This Sistren is "Enlightened", I n I Know that it is a process and One receives Glimpses of the LIGHT along the WAY to Guide the I, but interestingly I and I have heard that the Dalai Lama says that there are only two Ways to enlightenment -Meditation and Parenthood....and although Mind expanding Herbs  can help and many texts -The WORD-can guide, there are no shortcuts .

Blessings to all an give thanks for all views,
this one is straight from I an i heart on this topic.

The true sense of life has an individual acceptance.  ifeel that once we realize that we have reduced the signifigance of our own life and put it to a greater good, the eye of the mind turns to all that are accompaning us on this blessed Journey.

Dealing with daily "ups and downs" it is difficult for i not to get depressed some times.  Realizing that so many like to fuss and fight and whats worse, not accept that there are others that far worse off than us, makes one feel isolated in an OverCrowded World/Planet.  Realizing what we have done to oneanother, and our world, is difficult to translate into a positive force.  NeverTheLess, it Must be done.

In order to gain a ture sense of life, i feel we must come together and make a plan to forward ourselves in a new way.
Thankful for the ones in our lives,and the ones who are not.  I an i  would like to see this turnaround in our life time, where the righteous push the greedy out of the way of an overwhelming  Truth, that we will take this no longer.  That we must come together and forward in this generation.  Otherwise, for i man, it is a sense of Hopelessness and uncalcuable Loss.

Many Look to The Most I, and this is an individual sight, that may or maynot be in alignment with others,  But i say we must look to each other and see it in their eyes too.  For, how else are we to recognize the true sense of life, if we do not see our brothers and sisters prosper in the face of wickedness, and in spite of it.  This, I an i hope, will be the down turn of their Rule over the majority of Jah Children.

The questions I an I find I asking all have answers in the little life of I, not somewhere out in JahCreation.
As we discuss in Spirit, it is our Feeling that sustains us in this life and gives us the waters that wash away all questions and fears.
Moon guides us through the darkness, her silent beauty touching our emotion, giving us the strength to last through the night until morning when the light of Jah love returns and opens all doors.
