Seen sistren, I give thanks for the opportunity to reason with an Elder Rasta Sistren such as the I. I know that the road I'm travelling you have already tread upon, so there is much more that you've probably seen than have I. I can feel that you have a heart of Love for Wombmankind and for the youth.

If we are listing our personal views, let me first just answer your question and say that no I have not visited any battered women's shelters. If we are listing personal views, I can say that I don't have to. I know what a battered woman looks like. Got plenty of friends who been there (and I have a mirror ). So I am not ignorant of the plight of wombman's suffering. But just as I have sistren, I have bredren. Just as I have neices, I have nephews. Certainly InI must help the sistren who are abused and beat down. I guess I just feel that if in so doing we make no attempt to remember the bredren, then we are still imbalanced.

In terms of women being left holding the bag, no good or bad deed happens without reaction. The Iniverse is giving us what we give. Whilst the wombman is most certainly left with children to raise, I do believe that there are a lot of old men with a lot of regrets for not doing what they were supposed to. (I personally know some.)

Sistren you and I are seeing eye to eye. Iron sharpens iron, and I am thankful for the sharpening from the I.

The I has said all that was left to say here.  Though InI may have travelled a different road that you Sistren, the I is a strong, beautiful and loving Sistren and InI have much to learn from you as well.  It is our combined strengths that ensure a strong chain.  I Raspect the I and appreciate our time together.  Words are but Words when they are broken down, but how they have the power to hurt us so much.  In the end it is our actions that make the difference and all we can do is take strength from each other.

Greetings in the name of the Most High Jah Rastafari

Sistah Vee, InI was updating Iself with some Reading here as InI have been busy with exams at University and finally have some free time when InI noticed that the past couple of days the Sistren has been in a bit of an uncomfortable spot regarding the whole 'color' issue.  This was definately a surprise to InI as one of the main reasons InI joined this forum was because of the Wisdom that the I has when it concerns working together, both white and black.  There are so many posts if people search through the archives that you have posted dealing with the manner in which both white and black deal with each other within Rastafari.  The fact that the 'Blacks' get offended when the I is addressing their issues and now there are some 'whites' who has been and will Itinue to be offended as the I responds to them.  InI just wanted to say that after re-reading some of the posts that appeared to have OFFENDED  InI have proved to Iself that the Sistren speaks the Truth regardless of whether she is addressing 'Blacks' as is seen Super clearly here in this thread, if others will take the time to read it they will also see this, or whether she is responding to others. 

InI guess what InI want to say is that InI hope that this mis-understanding does not stop the I from sharing as InI personally can state here that InI have grown more this last six months as a RasTafarian than InI had for twelve years prior with the Sistren's Guidance and Patience in explaining things clearly for all.  Can InI apologize to the I for any hard feeling that may have resulted this past week as the I is forIver apologizing even to deeds not done. The I is always the first to apologize and none humbles themselves enough to say sorry to the I Sistren.  InI would like to apologize for all who should be doing so and don't.
