no problem brotha alot of rasta believe different things. some don't eat any meet n some just don't eat pork. it all depends on what you feel. but when you pick foods to eat try to pick healthy foods. remember your body is your temple.seen? for some ital food recipes look through the itlat living part of the forum( i think that's what its called haha) bless up bro ke Posted on: July 28, 2008, 07:36:16 pm my bad brotha its called "rasta livity" bless

InI have a question about the Etheopian flag. The actual flag has green at the top, but InI see it upsidedown lots of places. I was originally taught that an upside down flag meant "war" or "distress".
Why is the flag Green, Gold, Red sometimes and Red, Gold, Green other times?

I guess the war on Babylon might have something to do with it. InI even see pics of H. I. M. with the red, gold, green. I just wonder is all.
I'm having a great time reading on this forum as well. I only wish I had found it earlier. . .

Indeed it signifies war of any decided type. Many even choose to fly upside-down in times of seeming emotional, mental, and even cosmic "war," even if only to show war can only be recognized with an upside-down perspective; indeed some always fly it upside down to show that all perception is mental " war," but also many fly the colors upside-down simply because they do not yet know which way is right-side up

for Sefus... ahhm... as I know about the flag, red" means the blood of the martyr of the RasTafarI, gold" means the gold of the Mother land Africa,(its not really yellow, the real one is gold because that is depend on the feature of the cloth, sometimes color yellow looks like gold.) and the green" means the vegetation of the natural life... hope it can help yuh! about the upside-down position... As I know, the Nyabinghi tribe use it the green on the top... but for my own overstandings its the same...
