k well I is a young kid about 16. When InI started to lean towards rastafarian, he would start trying to follow me, and the fact is that he has no faith about this he doesnt care about it really. he seems like he just wants to be like me, now he goes home and researches it and get rasta stuff. the truth is this kid does not believe in rasta and wants to b elike me. How should i react to this? if this happend to you, would you get agrrivated?

Greetings .

Don't get aggravated - that is not RastafarI's ways.  Maybe this friend of yours is lonely, maybe he is jealous that you have found something that he does not have.  Some say imitation is a form of flattery.  My suggestion to you, and it may be hard to accept, is befriend this person.  RastafarI can be for all, it is not our duty to judge who can or who cant be Rasta.  Jah sees into our hearts and knows who has the right heart condition.  If it isnt true, then it will not last.

Keep seeking Jah and his guidance.

Bless Up 1080man

Molliebaz said it as good as InI could have.  Imitation IS INDEED the highest form of flattery.

When InI was quite a bit younger many followed InI.  In dress, food choices, music...  Silly to InI at the time.  Yet, today InI see InI's designs being worn by many and it is a wonderful feeling.  At first InI starting making InI's own clothes to be different from the crowd.  InI worked day and night on InI's designs.  It was for InI that's why InI named InI's label, Vee-Wear, for Vee.  Now a lot of people wear InI's clothes and many wear nothing but InI's designs.

It is a bless up to Rastafari for others to want to follow the I's direction.  In time they may find the path fruitful and decide to take the life seriously.  Don't fret...  Pat the Iself on the back and keep on trodding.  The I still has a long way to travel and will meet many such individuals.  Count each encounter as a positive.

Nuff Guidance

The I got the best answers the I could get from the 2 responses..all I an I can add is that the I lead by example and by the I's work he will see that rasta is not a joke thing or a fashion thin... but reality. He might even find him self through the I's works

Blessings me breden,

You've been given nuff positive insight into your dilema. De only ting I man can add is dat your friend may well be walking in your shadows at this moment in time but if dem path is to be de Rasta path, if Jah is to dwell within him soul, then when the time is right them will have them own path to follow, guided by Jah.  For the time being you are their guide & in turn you are being guided by Jah.

"To inspire is to lead, yet to guide is to follow"

Which basically means, if you are an inspiration to this person at this moment in time, then it is for you to lead.  This person may be at a point in their life where they need to be guided, so if you act as their guide then they will follow the path you are guiding them on.

So stay true to Rasta me bredren, inspire & guide & Jah will do the same for you. Bless Up.

Love & Guidance.
