but not the best understanding of who jah is

Jah is God's name, a shortened form of Jehovah. It is in the Bible, unfortunately InI cannot recall the passages but InI am sure one of the Idren will know. Some Rastafarians see H.I.M. as the reincarnation of Jah as the Christ. Others see him as Jah in human form, or the physical symbol of the Christ. Ultimately, it is up to each individual Rastafarian to decide what he or she belives.

Jah is not to be termed as who, is not defineable in that sense. Jah is in I, Jah is the sum of all which is here naturally, and all of Creation. Jah is Creation, and Creation is the work of Jah.            The Great Spirit Jah Living Creation.                   
Jah is everywhere and in everyone...hence I & I. Seen?
H.I.M. is a divine messenger of Jah.

The way I see it is that as you said Jah is in everything everywhere all the time. But HIM is the incarnation of all those. There fore he is God because He is all of that which is godly.

As the I can see..I an I as rases will have different answers but if the I look closely the I will see that in the end they come back to be the same...example of the responses combined in one... The I say there is a problem? If so its only the I's. Not I and I's. Rastamen do not think that "rasta is the true christ" for the Christ has a full and proper name. The I's inability to articulate that calls into question the I's competence to speak on the matter not to mention raises eyebrows to a ones intentions.

No desrespect Idren but the I seems fake

I an I know all about the ORTHODOX..as a matter of fact I'll be there later today.....As a ras the I would have known that one must not attack another in the manner the I did....As rasses as I an I explained..one will find deferent overstandings..As a ras one must overstand this and state their overstanding and not by attacking another's overstanding... Each of us have a different connection with JAH as I an I are dealing with the half thats never been told and thats what lead to different overstandings...Overstand that IYAH!   AND THE WORDS OF H.I.M "No one should question the faith of others, for no human being can judge of the ways of God."

Thank you for your response.  I appreciate that you are defending Rastafari from false preacher men  and false prophets - and rightly so -  as it is written in the scriptures, in the last days many will come saying I am He but they are wolves in sheep's clothing.    I often take a back seat and read the posts for a while - sometimes it is easier to see the whole picture from a distance. I also try to look at how outsiders (guests) will perceive the forum.  Sometimes, I wonder how all the forum members would get on together if they were all physically present in the same room !  So, I think we must all align ourselves with the Golden Rule as posted by Sistah Vee.
