The best way to get them,as the bredren have stated just leave your hair to do as it wishes,all locks form differently for we are differnt,wash them with herbal shampoo or soap,thats it!! No conditioner no using beeswax to hold them together,If the I wishes to put them into sections,then what the I can do,is once the I has washed her hair and left it to dry naturally you can sit and twist abit,but after a while twisting does get tiring,do it till you can see that they can form on their own without getting into one big lock

I'll hijack the thread a lil. I'm useing tea tree oil soap, the ingrediants are as follows.

Soap Base
EDTA
Tea tree oil
BHT
Flavor
Aqua (then it says etc...)?

I looked up them all and found nothing to do with conditioner or residue. Is this ok to use while growing dreads or does anybody know anything bad about this soap?
