"They were of one accord, in one place."

One accord means they were in oneness of purpose. It didn't mean they were totally in agreement about everything, that people had lost their individuality, but it means they were united by the greater vision that they were here to bear witness to what they had witnessed in JAH's LOVE—the truth.

Would you believe it and build the self image that because you had the highest teachings on the planet, you were better than all the other people who also believe they have the highest teaching on the planet?
Idren, In times of turbulence it is necessary to remember and adhere to some basic Truths.  According to an African Triditional Dahomey Song, “They that are born are destined to die, and the dead to be brought to life again; and the living to be judged, to know, to make known, and to be made conscious that He is God; He the Maker, He the Creator, He the Discerner, He the Judge, He the Witness…He it is that will in future judge, Blessed be He, with whom there is no unrightousness, nor forgetfulness, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.  Know also that everything is according to reckoning; and let not your imagination give you hope that the grave will be a place of refuge for you.  For perforce you were formed, perforce you were born and perforce you live, and perforce you will die, and perforce you will in future give account and reckoning before the KING of KINGS, the Holy ONE, Blessed be HE…”
InI have stated these basic Truth in many places here at one time or another.  However as InI follow the Spirit of Jah in all things InI speak only when moved by the Spirit of Jah to do so, and at this time InI have been moved to do such.
‘Into blinding darknes enter those who worship ignorance and into still greater darkness those who worship knowledge alone… He who knows both knowledge and ignorance together crosses death through ignorance and attains immortal life through knowledge…’  Isa Upanishad I.9&11
Idren, when did Rasta come to the place where we cannot communicate through KINDNESS?I  “And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.” (Matthew, Chapter 7)

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew, Chapter 7)
Idren, we as Rastas  must OVERSTAND that there are many forces in this world that will seek to prevent us from getting true answers. If these forces cannot prevent us, they will seek to give us false ideas and answers.. There are indeed many things that are attacking those who are truly striving for spiritual growth.  If we are serious about personal or spiritual growth, we need to learn how to protect ourselves from negative energy
Any positive change in your life begins with increased awareness and OVERSTANDING. We Rastas need to increase our awareness of negative energy so that we can recognize places, people or situations that have a concentration of such energy. In this manner we can begin to make wise choices and avoid rushing in where angels fear to treadI

So this is what we need to wake ourselves up from, and those of us who are already awake need to be willing to be the open door to wake up those who are already – at inner levels – aware that something is missing.  The fact of the matter is that we were not created by JAH as sinners. We Idren were created as sons and daughters of JAH. But we did not come here with the full JAH consciousness, with our own higher Beings, with our I AM Presence. Blasphemy is to deny Jah.  Jah did NOT call us to have a savior complex, but he calls us to realize that if we will believe on HIM, if we will follow his examples, then we can become the open doors for Jah’s power to flow into this world. And it is JAH’s power that will change the world, not our own power. Believing otherwise  just becomes another endless power play of the ego.

Blessed Love Sistah;
If the words typed and the words spoken are in accord, how is it that we are witness to so many claiming to be the door , the way, yet see such pride fullness?.
I an I ask this question often, " who am i to do such works, or say such things?., Is it prideful of i to relate the strength I feel within Rastafari?."
I an I feel, within this Rasta community, we should acknowledge the positive and the Negative, but seek out the positive word power we talk with.  Positive solutions in our works.  It is NOT just a ONELove and Ganja Hippie thing, it IS far more than that with Global implications, to Help those in NEED.  To Opan out Hearts and minds.  To Stand as collective examples of what we must become.
Through our Father, who art in Heaven, Thy will BE DONE.
now, I man dont want that to sound Prideful, just UP~ful.  For WE are part of the solution.
Many Thanks for the chance to seek the I's thoughts on such matters.
Stay Blessed.
JahLove.

Blessings Sistah Vee,
With spring, come more time outside, and less time here, except for night time.  sorry to have been away, but I must take what come in regards to time on the computer.
I an I suppose to pick up where thoughts were left, would be at the tower of Babel.
Here, the people were of one accord, in one place.  I man am not sure if this is what the I refers to, but it may be one example of the thoughts I was having at the time of last post.  Although the people may have had an intention to be on the "same level" as Jah, working together, it displeased Jah and he came to confuse the language, and scatter the people.
In relation to what some seek, one of the Messages of rsatafari is to seek out this togetherness/onelove.  To carry this message forward to Jah children in order for us to become one.
I man wonder at the validity or purity of this intention sometimes.  It is a truth that the world has become Over-burdened.  The physical manifestations of this crisis are made evident to some, but many remain in their world awaiting a savior.  At the same time the shifting of capitalist barriers which divides economies causes a buble in the reality of most of the people of this world.  Therefore, WE are Not One.  There is US and Them.  Yes, I know, OPPOSITE. Naturally.
The trend toward the future is one of Invisible Barriers, which are More dangerous I man think.  For, it will cause an un_spoken division between people who choose to support a system of segregation and separation.  This is what we have at present, and it must come to change.
I suppose in the time I man have been away, thinking, gardening, working~~~living, It has become clear that WE must recognize Individual Rights. of All nations, and countries.  How it is that we make this come about still needs to be thought on and furthered.
I suppose I will leave it here for now.
Many Thanks for the chance to further these thoughts of freedom.
and work through them with the Idren here.
JahLove.

Bless Up Surfmon

InI always enjoy InI's time spent Reasoning with the I.  Yes.  InI agree with the I.  It is difficult for Rastafari to find the solutions to this togetherness that we lack.  If we are to be truly honest and face our weakness as Blacks, we must accept the fact that we have never learned the lesson of working together.  We have never fully Iverstood that to work toward one purpose does not mean we MUST always be in agreement of everything at all times.  We demand that things must be this way or that and as a result it is difficult to move pass our disagreements and stay focused on those things that we unanimosly agree upon.

By attempting to supress the individuality of each individual we see the differences of the trees more that the oneness of the forest.  In out Trod as Rastas we find our strengths in our differences and rather than celebrate the differences among the whole as a blessing, we use these differences to divide and seperate rather than to come together.  As a result we remain a lot of individual trees in a forest rather than a forest with many individual trees.  Rather than build upon each other strengths we feel threatened and put up our defences, no chance of working towards one purpose anymore. It is obvious that ones will feel Over-burdened.  And for those not awaiting a saviour, there is the saviour complex which many develop.

But, as a builder, the I know that sometimes the time it takes to fix the many problems in a house is sometimes more work that to just break down the house, save the good material, and start over with a firmer foundation working upward.  In the end a rebuild house may actually be stronger than the original could ever have been fixed up to.  And it might even cost less financially as well as with labour costs.

So times like these is the times to find the strong pieces and build upon that.  Small changes added together would bring some movement towards a stronger house.  And when there are a few good pieces the weight can be distributed.  Maybe it's as simple as finding the US among the THEM and start from there.  And start Raspecting Individual rights in the simple things too.

In the Tower of Babel the people used the strength of their one tongue and thought they were strong enough to challenge God.  God took away the strength of one tongue and created chaos which weakened them and showed them who was God.  So InI see it as we are ONE made up of many Individual parts, with the Right to our Individual opinions and the Right to Raspect. InI will enjoy hearing the I's thoughts here.

Nuff Love

Blessed Heart of Reason Sistah, When the I put is in this manner, especially with the Forrest  symbol, We can ALL see how very Important our diffrences ARE. Together with the accounting of The Tower of Babel, we can also see that Humility plays a huge role in the Service to Jah, with Helping One another recognize OUR collective strength.
It is a Monumental to Build Alone., But when we have the Humble but Strong Help at Hand, there is SO MUCH that CAN BE acchieved.
Many Thanks for the I's Insightful Vision.
