There are many laws laid down in the Old Testament, some of which RasTafarIans follow.
Do you think following these laws without deep faith in Jah hinders or helps your relationship with Him?

Personally, I find that naturally I do not want to follow laws and makes me feel resentment towards Jah and the Bible which I am deeply ashamed of.  However, when I feel the love of Jah in my heart, He will reveal to me which laws He wants me to follow by placing the desire to follow them in my heart.

There is no point mindlessly following rules as the most important thing is that Jah influences your life and choices in a positive way, rather than imposing laws upon yourself that make the entire experience of Jah a negative one which is 100 percent wrong, I lie?

To overstand the BIBLE idren...separate the stories from the scriptures and the bible will open to the I and the I will know what JAH want us to follow..example...keeping the sabbath...there was no other verse that said stop keeping the sabbath..so that means we are supposed to keep it...I havent been keeping it but I man setting Iself to...RASTAFARI is everlearning and evergrowing

I find that pressing laws upon Iself is GREAT for personal control. I dont feel it is negative, it can be hard but InI know that life is hard. But my reward shall be great.

Sure, Laws are for the intro... Introduction to the Path; And so the Old Testament testify it.

Laws are for the people of dormant unconscious.

Laws are there to prevent unnecessary chaos of living a lower life which miss the higher pupose to be.

Laws are superficial substution for conscience.

Yes I,there is the time when love come into IanI life in darkside of life, bringing the new light of Being.

Since then, and in the one who heed the call of softly whisper and will of strength to carry on; I man becomes the star-crossed voyager... u trod by the new rules of the heart. And is the path of new consciousness. A soul redemption, if u can live up the new Ideal to LIVE UP.

Then it is to say, Once in a while I an I walked in the valley of death, living whilist fearing ur own casted shadows of err, but not having enough light to see the consequences of the I 's making. And at that time; THE Written LAWS where helpful companions to mould ur personality and help to bring u in focus. With hope that; they will come the day that the I will remember that 1 and only Supreme Law, that is already inscribed inna di sanctum sanctorium. Then u will need no outer laws. The True Law is already the very I, and THY I is Love. Until that becomes the reality, then all laws will be absorbed into 1. LOVE .... Love THYSELF, for THYSELF is nothing butta LOVE in its utmost quality. And THYSELF is the One with the WHOLE. And the whole is LOVE. To know love is not to be imposed from the outside. It is the original quality of Being... JAH JAH is realy !

So the New Testament is in all who had come into awakening into the reality of LOVE. Of the WORD... Of the eternal One. The Uncaused Cause... Then they have to drop their FEAR of old world of written laws. The fearing self must be counqered, so that the guility conscience will have to dissolve with all its vanity and damnation, its proclaimed DEATH certanity. Ressurrection is the only salvation for all who overstand the path to self sacrifice. SPIRIT is that WHICH WAS, IS and WILL BE... And its like the SUN, It is always there. The Self is like the MOON... That which shine but with REFLECTED LIGHT, not of the full glory as its source of LIGHT... And the Body and its carnal senses is like the EARTH... Always in duality of DAY and NIGHT at the same TIME, thus is a life of I an I... Search for the Glory of the SUN and never worship the cold light of the Self... When 2 becomes 1, then kingdom of JAH is attained and so the secrets of Half reality will seize... Immortality is realised, and at that moment is DEATH and RESURRECTION.... The Triumph of the Spirit...
