K so recently I and I so called friends are being completely ignorant and in mature. They try to use my belief as an insult. Sometimes they will go up to I and I and start mocking "jah jah jah jah hahah jah!" like its retarded! Anyways long story short they just spit on my beliefs right in front of me. they say thats it is no different then calling me an insult. like calling my god an idiot is not a big deal? Im sick of this...

If you put truth and righteousness at the core of how you will spend your life, you will be mocked for it.  Especially if you live and regularly spend time with modern people.  But you still have to give thanks - whats worse, being aimless and storm-tossed or being mocked? 

Don't allow it to make you despondent though.  It is your responsibility to be positive in your knowledge of who InI is. 
 
At the same time, don't feel like you have to subject yourself to it if they persist after you've laid out that respect is necessary for friendship.

Seen Nicro, try and explain to them.  But dont expect more from babylon.  People will always mock Rasta.  People always mock those that are different than them.  Its just the way this world is seen.  Best not to think to much of it, just stay Irie.

i and i have a similar problem with my Friends i like mi Friends but not when thay are being ignorant about rasta and jah like dem try to take advantage of it and try to i sware and stuff and some of dem are atheist

I&I think dat many have dat problem. Also I&I.
But I&I know dat I&I must love dem, also when dem make fun of JAH name, I lifestyle, the hola scriptures or other thing. When dem say "Oh, I also fear JAH" ironically, I just pray to Jah, "Jah, dem dun know, dem dun know better, I&I sorry for dem!" But I know and believe dat to talk about God, using His name without raspect is one of di greatest sins. One of the sins dat can make Jah angry. Like inna Sodom & Gomorrah. Yunno, Jah Fyah bun.

And I&I nah try fi mission dem to believe in the One Jah.
Because, I&I see it like dis: Jah must choose dem, because dem a worthy.
I&I atheist friends say "Ras, there is no life after death. Realize it."
I&I say "Bredda, dat is what you get. No life after death, if you nah bow to Jah." Seen. Like dat.

We must love our neighbor, love our fellow man and woman, rasta or nonrasta alike.
Jah Pon Earth said dat we must accept an raspect all fellow man and woman. That also means christians, muslims, atheists, deists, hindus and others.
But faith-wise, yunno, I&I raspect christian an muslim more, seen, because dem pray and believe in JAHVE, and He is the real God, the real Jah.

I think this all depends on how your friends are. My friends are Atheists but are more open and philosiphical in that they have deep thoughts ect.... So they respect my knowledge and understand.And whenever they argue against a point of mine they can never win!! This just helps show that Rasta is Reality.

i am white but love rasta(everything about it)but its classed as by my "friends" that i only like it and what it stands for cause of the rasta men! its not true . i was into reggae at a early age about 10, and have always loved it. they are just ignorant and totally against what i believe in. x
