I see what the I is saying but, as long as I clean my beard and locks I always am clean.
but its not just about physical cleanliness you also need a clean heart to feel clean.

my locks make InI feel clean.

plus, if one was to literally take the nazarite vow, and feeling clean conflicted with having locks, would one really have taken the vow?

No. Or yes, they might "feel" cleaner, but if yuh believe inna di Holy Teachings, The Holy Scriptures, the "purest" form of keeping the body is nazirite, vegetarian and natural.
It is all bout letting the nature (JAH) control yuh and yuh body, that is nazirite. To be a disciple of JAH instead of man. Babylon dem waan man fi be short hair and without beard, yes.
The Holy Scriptures is also warning against being to feminine as a man, and too masculine as a woman. The beard is respected inna di scriptures as a mans pride, a mans wisdom, a mans manhood and a mans faith. We born men, we stay men. According to scriptures, men should not wear woman-like clothing, for example.
I&I have been nazirite for a little over ½ year now, I give thanks to JAH just for the opportunity.
