Greetings Idren of JAH Almighty always!

The subject Iman waan fi reason is doubt in RasTafari Haile Selassie I.
Iman a very serious ras taking mi faith really serious, all my life is based in the beliefs of JAH. An I&I pretty "orthodox" in mi belief.
Iman observe I-self as a very strong an steadfast believer in HIM, but Iman mind can sometimes play tricks pon me.
The problem is that sometimes in I I-ditation, I have a few times not seen Selassie I as The Almighty.
If Iman mix up all Iman infomation, put it together, sometimes it nah mix well. Sometimes my mind tell me dat Haile Selassie I is not JAH, on basis of facts an I-story.
And it is all tings like His personal story, His wars, and other tings that make Iman doubts. Small tings, small elements. I&I feel bad an nah waan fi end up as a new Marcus - one with doubt in the real God.
It's not because I'm doubting all di time, or every day or every week,   but some minutes or hours I meditation brings me another place.
Iman observe dat I am 100% sure bout JAH - the almighty good that rules all. Im just like only 99% sure dat it is Haile Selassie I, and that's me problem.
I would like to hear mi Idren Meditation pon dis, and hear if any other have di same likkle issue.
Iman know that in the end, Iman get the acceptance of JAH almighty for searching fi Him. Let's help Iach-other pon a righteous path, family.

His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I
Blessings and nuff raspect

That used to happen to me. Then it became days and weeks with thoughts constantly changing so now I am converting to Islam.

Bredda Nicro:
We all have our path, in I sight, so Iman just congrats yuh wit yuh new overstanding. But me nah christian nor muslim.

Bredda Ke:
Yes I, Iman know. As I write, it is only few minutes or even seconds that Iman may not be convinced of the truth.
An example of all di small tings dat together can make my (sinful) doubts bout Haile Selassie I is dat He has children. 7 children. If JAH have children, what a dem? And what bout the ones from His family dat is still alive today?       Because we all JAH children, trace back to Adam & Eve.      And... Selassie I lost two of his children, when they were very young. Why should JAH let this happen? Iman nah believe dat JAH gave birth to two children just to see dem die.
And it is just all these small tings runnin aroun me head when I&I I-ditate to come closer to H.I.M.
Hmm, I think that part of I problem is, dat me nah accep me brain (own I-ditation) as "THE TRUTH" - there must be some facts, and maybe some scriptures describing, prophesizing or telling it. And me nah observe the "New Testament" - so The Book of Revelation and all dat nah work fi Iman. So me cyaan find answer in deh.
Selah Ites, Idren.

Give thanks Nicro.
Yes I, but me see HIM as the personification of JAH. When Haile Selassie I "gone" - HIM nah really "gone" - Him nah dead, because JAH cyaan dead. That's how me see it.
And Yes I, me have this great disbelief in Jesus as Christ, Iman have never believed in him as our Savior or as part of mi God. And some things about HIM points out Jesus as the one we should worship - from interviews and all dat. So if me see His Imperial Majesty face to face one day, and Him say "The Real Messiah is Jesus" - then Iman a Jew. Then Iman convert directly to Judaism. Me have problems wit the messianic issue, some of the tings prophesized to happen, hasn't happened yet.

I&I stand tall as JAHJAH Selassie I Souljah if not JAH show I&I otherwise!
All this doubt (even though it's actually not much) is hard to deal wit, when it's all my life it's about. I&I nah waan fi "wake up" one day and "realize" dat my life has been based on false prophet or even God. Me never stop loving and praising JAH - Yahweh - Adonai I! - The God of Jacob, Isaac and Israel which saved me people from the hands of Egypt, under the lead of Moses I.  Never. But some seconds - me can sometimes doubt in HIM as the ONE. This is mi problem, Brethren.

I believe every thing happens for a reason and we are all a part of Jah's plan so if he feels we need to die I will be happy that I will see HIM and live in peace for ever.
so InI don't see death as a bad thing.
also when the I has a doubt in the I's mind Jah is testing the I's faith in HIM. so when the I reasons and and finds HIM the I has gained more wisdom and Jah knows that the I has gained more strength.
blessings.

seen Ras Adam,

We all get doubts sometimes, and truth always reveals. so search for the truth,

looking through your early replys on this topic iman would say that you could be a member of 12tribes/similar. but you no see Jesus as Christ.

we all get doubts brother, but you stay strong. All the points you are making are good points about HIM children and other tings.
remember humans are all different,

We Rasta are all similar but we tred on different paths, believe in different things, interperate different text, but i tell you what we same, and thats love and unity.
So going through this phase about JAH just keep strong and stay true to other things you belive in. keep loving and keep respect to all.

really hope Iman done ok here and helped you out (i hope!!)

Bless Rootsridge

@ Adam. Well I could never see how God could be a man. God being Omnipresent, Omni knowledgeable, and forever living could never be a human. Also in Old Testament it say God rested on seventh day. Why would God need rest? H.I.M. even denied being God. What would his children be? Bible favor men over women while Islam holds both equal. And the God of Israel would in fact be Allah, as the Quran teaches.

@ Nya, Muslim dont view Muhammad as being divine. Both him and Isa(Jesus) Moses, Abraham, ect are all simply humans.

Blessed & Divine Love,

The Lion and the Lamb is One!

Revelation 5:5-10

5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

8And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

 9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

The Coronation of
H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I

"The invited foreign envoys begin to arrive around October18, from such places as England, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, the Netherlands, Japan, Egypt, France, U.S.A., Germany, Greece, Turkey, and Poland. Following ancient tradition, 49 bishops and priests in groups of seven, in seven corners of the cathedral, chant continually nine Psalms of David for seven days and nights prior to the coronation.

"On November 1, the eve of the coronation, the Emperor inaugurates a statue of the great Menelik II. The honor of unveiling goes to the Duke of Gloucester, the envoy of the King of England. The same evening, the imperial vestments and ornaments are taken in a great parade to the royal church of St George and consigned to the Archbishop who prays over them all night. The cathedral of St. George is a magnificent structure built during the reign of Menelik II and was the scene of the crowning of Empress Zawditu in 1916. His imperial Majesty and His family enter the church at midnight for a night of prayer.

"More the 700 guests and officials are in attendance on November 2, 1930, to witness this ancient Hebraic-Christian coronation ceremony. Lion-maned chieftains are interspersed among the foreign guests and dignitaries, each according to rank and station. Hundreds of priests join the original group, resplendent in their colorful ceremonial robes, bearing crosses and censers. Before the royal ritual begins, His Majesty is approached by the Archbishop, His Holiness Abuna Kyrillos, with a Holy Bible bound in gold, and is asked to pledge the following four-part oath:

"To strengthen and defend the orthodox faith, and to keep, without disturbance, the laws and ordinances which the Orthodox Church has laid down
"To act with consideration for the interests of the people according to law as well as with kindness and patience
"To safeguard the entire Ethiopian realm and people in accordance with the established law and the ordinances of the Council
"To assist with the establishment of schools in Ethiopia where secular and spiritual education would be developed and the gospels would be preached"
The Emperor then affirms verbally and in writing that He is willing to fulfill His duties as ruler."

"Next, the Abuna recites the prayer of the covenant, after which the choir with the drum and harp accompaniment chants the 48th Psalm. During this Interval, abbots from various monasteries bring the royal articles one by one, hand them to the six bishops, who were assigned by the Archbishop to the coronation service, and the bishops in turn pass the articles to the Abuna to be blessed. The objects are returned to the respective bishops who then present them to His Imperial Majesty, reciting appropriate lines. With each of the seven ornaments, His Imperial Majesty is anointed on the head, brow, and shoulders with seven differently scented ointments of ancient prescription. He is first vested with a gold sword along with this exhortation: "May you be enabled with this sword to punish the wicked and protect the righteous."

"This is followed with the bestowal of the Imperial scepter of ivory and gold, and the golden orb (globe), a diamond incrusted ring, two traditional lances (spears) filigreed in gold, the imperial vestments, and finally, anointing His head with oil, the Abuna places upon H.I.M. the triple crown. The Archbishop concludes the regal anointing with the words: "That God may make this crown a crown of sanctity and glory. That, by the grace and the blessings which we have given, you may have an unshaken faith and a pure heart, in order that you may inherit the crown eternal. So be it." The Crown Prince, Asfa Wossen, removes his coronet and on bended knee pledges his allegiance, service, and support.

"The Empress and her ladies of honor then enter the sanctuary from the right side and she takes her throne to the right of His Majesty for her coronation. It has been determined that the Abuna is to place the crown and ring upon Her Majesty, without the regal anointing, on the same day of the Emperor's coronation. This not only breaks tradition, but sets a historical precedent as the earlier practice was for her to be crowned on the third day after the coronation of the Emperor, in the palace and not in the church.

"The final part of the ceremony is a tour of the cathedral by their Imperial Majesties, escorted by the bishops and priests, the princes and dignitaries, assistants and others, carrying palm branches and chanting, "Blessed be the King of Israel" The procession continues onto the Addis Ababa streets, where throngs of well wishers wildly cheer the Royal Family. The event draws to a close with Their Majesties visiting the other churches in the city to give thanks and praise."

Revelation 19:11-16

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 19:19-21

19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Greetings to One-and-All,

how good and how pleasant it is to read across such a deep reasoning. Give thanks for that to all in here.
Just want to share my point of view.
I see the personality of His Imperial Majesty as fullfillment of biblical prohecy from Moses who blessed Judah as the ruler, to the Psalms of King David to the book of revelation.
What is undoubtly truth for me, is that Haile Selassie the First is of the blessed seed of the house of David, to which was given the rulership over all the earth and if you read along your bible (the testament of my faith) from cover to cover you might find H.I.M. revealed in the book of life as the true and living Lion of Judah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
No itīs on the human to accept or not and trodding that road isnīt easy.
You wonīt get a full proof except at the end of times when judgement will be spoken onto each and everyone.

Blessed & Divine Love,

Psalm 48

1Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

2Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

3God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

4For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

5They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

6Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

7Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

8As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

9We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

10According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

11Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

12Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

13Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

14For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
