still...the logical mind is a One-Jah-ful tool for discerning truth, sifting thru what we know and what we THINK we know and to reason ourselves out of over-emotionally charged re-actions.....
I take my Knowledge from so many sources and if labels are what we feel safe to reveal and define ourselves, as in "what type of Rasta I and I Identify Iself as"...I would say I am a "New Age" Sufi-Rasta with "Hippy" roots and Nyabinghi Revelations....doubt I can find any so Identified and I resign Iself to being a total Individual with Global and Cosmic concern for ALL....
Not yet really fully conscious of where I stand with Afrocentricism, as I have decided to await finance to find out thru science ~ DNA testing how far back is I African Bloodline.....But I concern to help heal Africa and support Africans where ever they may be is very real...can we unite to overcome this Heathenism where it hurts many and serves few?
Or are we resigned to endlessly debating "religiousity" moving further away from H.I.M.'s vision of a Empowered Africa for Africans and a Global Culture based on Truth, Equal Rights, Compassion and Unification beyond warmongering and any sense of a fear-based society?
And by Truth, I mean useful Truth that all reasonable people can agree upon for mutual gain

@ Ras Adams... This will happen if you try to force the feeling of knowing H.I.M is the almighty. If you are a Ras know H.I.M comes naturally and doesnt need to be forced. Most of us rases not currently in the position to live our complete livity will sometimes feel like this because trying to separate yourself from society while in the belly of the beast is not easy. All you have to do is not force belief on yourself and it will come back naturally because its a KNOW and not a belief. I an I can loose alot of fire living in the belly of the beast. Its not easy.

Thanks Ras Adam. Yes I went through much thing like that. Such as yours and how is God man? Disbelief in Jesus alterations of Bible incomplete thoughts within RasTafari and H.I.M. death.

What else is GOD supposed to be? .. He made us in his image..Yesus was a man... man is the highest form of his creation.... The reason why most people have a problem with this is because of what society gives them as to what GOD should be like..he's supposed to be floating, flashing lightenening, look powerful strong and mighty etc.... JAH IS MAN.... How many people can even think about saying the person they are praising is not dead? How can one man die 10 different ways and buried 10 different places and bone size grow overnight?

@ Adam. Well I could never see how God could be a man. God being Omnipresent, Omni knowledgeable, and forever living could never be a human. Also in Old Testament it say God rested on seventh day. Why would God need rest? H.I.M. even denied being God. What would his children be? Bible favor men over women while Islam holds both equal. And the God of Israel would in fact be Allah, as the Quran teaches.

@ Nya, Muslim dont view Muhammad as being divine. Both him and Isa(Jesus) Moses, Abraham, ect are all simply humans. 

If God is not a man then tells us who he is...He needed rest because he is man... H.I.M said I am man to the question of weather he was god....All the other people who said they were prophets were all self proclaimed....how would a false prophet present themself... The lineage of SHEM was told that they would loose the blessing to the lineage of HAM...But if you are comfortable with your new faith I wish you all the best.....There are no needs for divisions between people because of differences

I am not trying to convert I am simply stating what I thought. I see God in every man woman living and non living being. And how is it that man and woman are not equal? Before Islam do you know what was happening in the Middle East? Female infanticide, and all woman being sex slaves and objects. Once Muhammad(pbuh) he taught all men and women being equal. Each has the right to choose what to do, and are respected.

I am a Rasta and I view man and woman as being equal..certain rules were set for certain reasons...Example..Bobo live by the old testament in regards to man and women and the the rest of us doesnt...the women in Bobo choose to be Bobo because they have no problem living it and thats their trod..

Thats not why we have different branches.... Every house has its purpose...example...Some see Emmanuel as the high priest that the KING sent because HIS teaching is exactly as they believe... Bobo enforce the sabbath..12 tribes enforce acknowledging Yesus Kristos...Nyahbingi enforce the true natural rasta livity as given to us from creation and is the first and original house..Orthodox supports the Orthodox church because the KING reveiled that they are the ones teaching the truth about Yesus....

 The main issue is that many start claiming Rastafari and do not know Rastafari on a spiritual level. So they bring European religionist interpretation of biblical scripture under the banner of Rastafari.
