InI believe that Ras TafarI is Jah because like he said "I am he" also InI know that HIM guides us all and loves us all as his children. also InI know his body died but his soul will live for ever in us because he is the Most High Jah creator of all living things. people ask how can he be Jah if he was a Christian? InI say to that: Jesus was a Jew but the Christians see him as god, HIM doesn't have to tell us he is god, he showed us that he was..seen?
InI think what the guy said about Ras TafarI starving his people was pure propaganda, Ras TafarI loved his people very much. blessings. ke.

Who doe's he love, Rasta children or all children, who does he protect, rasta children or all children. Ke how did HIM show you he was God, in what way. I am not being picky just curious, because the last 2 posts seem very soft, fluffy modern day christian like answers. What about the children who died of starvation during his reign, what about the children of Iraq and Afghanistan, how about Africa, the U.S. and elswere, does he love them and protect them as well? I respect his Majesty as a man and for some of the things he did and I also find it disturbing other things that he did, this is because to me he was a man like any other, not God at all, no more God than I am, no more Divine than I am either. If there never was a bible or even a chapter called Revelations, how would you recognize selassie as God? What is it that he did for the entire world as god when he as god decided to come down to this planet which is 1 out of trillions? I am talking about the entire planet now, not just africa. What did God do for the chinese, polish, American Indian, etc, etc. not just positive sayings in his books or abolishing slavery in Ethiopia or as a noble politician on the scene of his time, what? These are questions most people who see Rasta will ask and want a straight answer from, not, hey man he's god because it says so in the bible (no it does not), marcus garvey said look for a black king to be crowned (no he did not, it was from a play he wrote). Without the bible please explain in some detail how his majesty revealed to the world that he could be God in flesh, returned for what? If he is God then you must think the almighty easily can be hurt like we can, suffer pain, defeat, ridicule, denial, etc etc. I would like to here peoples ideas on these questions, Let me say that I respect his Majesty and my rasta bredrin and sistren and in no way am I ridiculing Rasta belief, these are questions that will in time be asked to you in your life when you take this trod and I am curious as to the answers, please dont post bible verses and parables, I know what the book says.

InI feel it in my heart that he loves us all, not just Rasta children. he has showed me that he is god by answering my prayers and helping me through any hard times that InI have. also its hard to explain it, but InI am just able to see Jah through HIM more than InI was with any other god.. seen? blessings. ke.

Blessings Human,
I want to say that I agree with you a great deal. I may not be considered a rasta to some completly orthadox rastas. I believe that HIM was a great deified man and that he came on this earth to not be a saint but to do the best he could at what he was given. He was not always perfect in everything he did. HIM is not Yahweh Jah, no more than me and human are part of yahweh jah but he was illuminated with christ conciousness. Just as Yesus the Christ was deified so was HIM. And by deified I mean able to experience life in christ conciousness and on other higher dimensional levels. I firmly believe that HIM was of the same bloodline as David and Solomon. If you do the research you will know as well as the next. I believe HIM was a prophet of the most high and had otherworldy duties here on the earth plane of existence. So to me the closest person I could relate HIM to is Yesus. This is only my personal opinion.

Yes I, I&I Iditation bring I to see that Haile Selassie I was not JAH ALMIGHTY. I have had other sights before. (it was not this movie, it was the result of long time thinking, praying an meditation) Iman see HIM as the latest big King in the line of King David of I-srael. Righteous conqueror, always babylonians will doubt HIM's righteousness, always the Satan (the prosecutor, JAH servant) shall try righteous men out on that issue.

Easy H.I.M. wasn't especially humble though, was he? An entity who allowed himself to be waited on hand & foot, whilst blessed with four fully functional limbs and a mind second to none........ Being driven around in one of various luxury vehicles when your people are on foot....... How about Ghandi? walking everywhere wearing a mere blanket....possessing nothing more than a bit of equipment for the spinning of wool.......and this was before H.I.M. arrived in the flesh...... Not so humble, not so humble.....where's the divinity?
peace

Greetings in the Name of H.I.M Jah RasTafari without apology. Give thanks, this thread conjured alot of thought and emotion in InI heart and soul and felt the necessity to post this alone
Psalms 87 His foundation is in the Holy mountains 2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob 3 Glorious things are spoken of you O city of God! 4 "I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those who know Me:Behold O Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia "this one was born there" 5 And of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her" And the Most High Himself shall establish her" 6 The Lord will record, When He registers the peoples"This one was Born there." Selah 7 Both the singers and the players on instruments say "All my springs are in you"
