Greetings Idren,
People always want  ones to Identify Jah.  The Viedo is name, Devil's Advocate, so who are we going to name Jah to ?.
Anger flare up in Shango, because there are always ones who want Proof.  Them come with Negativity when Jah only tells I and I to be true .  Still, there are many paths to the Light, we try to show positivity in the very roots we study.  And still they try to knock we down.

Comments were made during the film regarding Bredren loosing their jobs cuz dem a Ras.  Real  enuff, But the Purification unto Jah is a Personal ting.  We each choose our path due to the reality we each see, and the relationship we have with the Most I.  In this times, is a serious ting to give oneself to Jah.  Throughout the I~ble, are many examples of ones falling back on their Love for Jah, turning away for self comfort. There are also many examples of ones who were set aside for Jah.   It is Jah who places these things upon us, though we are the ones who are tested I~tinually.

Asking "Is he GOD ?" seems a bit ridiculous to I man.  Jah makes some light up more than others.
In the end, we must take different views into account, but really, we have formed our relationship already.  Is a Personal ting.  May as many shine as Jah sends Blessings each day and night until Zion Gate in sight.
Blessings,
~S~

I feel that Jah gives we the Grace equivalent to the suffering and trials life brings, but only if we choose it....never is our autonomy disraspected by the Almighty......
each one has the choice to develop faith in Jah or to believe in worldly things......it is often the case that those cared for by the worldly, will give allegiance to Cesear/Babylon/Material&Love of power and security and those left out in the cold will have no-one but Jah to turn to...so the poor are Blessed by Jah!
It is not an easy path to walk in His ways and yet think how hard will it be to travel eternity living with ourselves if we forsake HIM, when we know He is right? And would we just move deeper into waking slumber if we deny His reality?
Sometimes I think that he does ask us to have blind faith, for we cannot overstand all of His ways or reasons for the way things are, yet if we trust in Him,and ask for knowledge, all will be revealed in time....
Bless and Guidance

Ises unto HIM,

Human you ask alotta questions but they deal with fantasies because they include what ifs.  What if there was no bible, what if Marcus never prophesize?  I will put it simple, if there is a council of 72 with the direct overstanding that righteousness and "Christian" love shall guide in our dealing, then so it set.  From the moment that anyone of the 72 defer from this collective agreement, they have relinquished their power and given it unto the remaining ones.  When 71 have done this through deceit, treachery, or simply through non action, who is left to rule the Earth?
Istorically a manifestation of the Almighty is cited in the works that precede the words. The only reason why King Selassie I's utterances are relevant is because of his works that sealed them.  Human you ask what did HIM do for other nations?  HIM raspected the order which has been set.  What business does an Ethiopian have trying to dictate policy to Poland, China, the First Nations or anyone else.  Every man to his own vine and fig tree and then Iration will be in order.  The wiseness to let people govern themselves and not force democracy or any other ideologies upon them.
Ones starving in Ethiopia is nothing new nor has it been alleviated since the departure of HIM from the throne.  That video was western propoganda to tarnish King Selassie I's global image.  The same western powers that put the footage out are the same ones who knew that a famine was emminent because of the massive deforestation that took place in Ethiopia along with the ecological disruptions of the illegal Italian military campaign from 1934 - 1941.  For HIM to even be marginally sucessful in bringing ET into the 20th century is nothing short of a miracle in itself.  Ethiopia today still has regions that adhere to ancient practices that predate western civilization so why impose western standards upon the East?
Human you ask if King Selassie I loves all children in all nations.  For I love is truths, right(eousness) and justice.  HIM was impartial to all He encountered, He expected all to work hard to obtain what they desired and He did the same.  If you mean a handout, that cyan work because the west gives out handouts because of their conscious.  Ethiopia owed the world nothing but gave everything.  What kind of love are you searching for?  Raspect for ones neighbors is the utmost love.
Human it seems that in acknowledging the unseen you have denied the seen and that is unbalanced.  Jah is manifest anywhere a man can trod but Haile Selassie I is simply the latest and greatest "man"ifestation.

Who doe's he love, Rasta children or all children, who does he protect, rasta children or all children. Ke how did HIM show you he was God, in what way. I am not being picky just curious, because the last 2 posts seem very soft, fluffy modern day christian like answers. What about the children who died of starvation during his reign, what about the children of Iraq and Afghanistan, how about Africa, the U.S. and elswere, does he love them and protect them as well? I respect his Majesty as a man and for some of the things he did and I also find it disturbing other things that he did, this is because to me he was a man like any other, not God at all, no more God than I am, no more Divine than I am either. If there never was a bible or even a chapter called Revelations, how would you recognize selassie as God? What is it that he did for the entire world as god when he as god decided to come down to this planet which is 1 out of trillions? I am talking about the entire planet now, not just africa. What did God do for the chinese, polish, American Indian, etc, etc. not just positive sayings in his books or abolishing slavery in Ethiopia or as a noble politician on the scene of his time, what? These are questions most people who see Rasta will ask and want a straight answer from, not, hey man he's god because it says so in the bible (no it does not), marcus garvey said look for a black king to be crowned (no he did not, it was from a play he wrote). Without the bible please explain in some detail how his majesty revealed to the world that he could be God in flesh, returned for what? If he is God then you must think the almighty easily can be hurt like we can, suffer pain, defeat, ridicule, denial, etc etc. I would like to here peoples ideas on these questions, Let me say that I respect his Majesty and my rasta bredrin and sistren and in no way am I ridiculing Rasta belief, these are questions that will in time be asked to you in your life when you take this trod and I am curious as to the answers, please dont post bible verses and parables, I know what the book says.

I'm a newbie here and I kinda share this view to and have the same questions, personaly I believe there's a God/Spirit in all of us and that some of us are braver, more articulate and interlectual but each of us has the same worth, do I know the what's , how's or when's?...no...but at the same time I would like to think that if God/Jah did come to earth he/she would take care of all of us and everything and not just the chosen few!

juss my 2 cents

peace an love

What does it mean to be Rasta?.
In this Iwa, we must be able to share what and How we apply the principles that we learn.  To share things , as they happen in our lives to try and reveal that we are One.  There is not anything that happen in ones life that does not happen in another, the only difference is When it happen.
In many ways, I have wanted to hear the Application of the trod and the circumstance of the multiple things that happen in our daily lives and thoughts.  I and I want to share more feelings, for in these feelings we are bound, at some point, in time.

These times are tough nuff, and the world should sight the path to we coming together in the Name Of the Most I.  Reach within and share what we all feel, for in this sharing, we see ourselves and the gap is bridged. Reflections of One In Another.

Jah work in mysterious ways and the lessons we must learn are many, we may feel more together with each other if we share the revelations and actions as they come to pass.

In these days of lengthening light, let us stand up and count the many whom have come to this reality.  Things must be sighted in a different way by the rest of the world which is at war, and I man want to see how  ones sight Rasta unity in this Iwa, not to define, but to Expand. Not to Judge, but to Welcome with open arms.

So much trouble in the world, Rasta Stand as the Strength that is needed to shatter the illusion with the Love of the Most I.

BEAUTIFUL.....and spot on!!!

For me it's sticking to your own personal interpretations, principles and truths of your spirituality and accepting other peoples personal interpretations, principles and truths, even if they don't match up with yours exactly...yeah...it sounds corny but to me we all have our personal truths and interpretations, each one has equal worth, I also believe that even though we may not agree on everything we all share common threads and they are a love for a higher power/Jah, the betterment of our people and one love towards others.

peace an love
