There is more, this is a start I suppose. I&I put the word in Google and there is a lot about it on the web. Cannot give you anything from personal expirence because I&I have never studued it.

The I Ching (often spelled as I Jing, Yi Ching, Yi King, or Yi Jing; also called "Book of Changes" or "Classic of Changes") is the oldest of the Chinese classic texts. A symbol system designed to identify order in what seem like chance events, it describes an ancient system of cosmology and philosophy that is at the heart of Chinese cultural beliefs. The philosophy centres on the ideas of the dynamic balance of opposites, the evolution of events as a process, and acceptance of the inevitability of change (see Philosophy, below). In Western cultures, the I Ching is regarded by some as simply a system of divination; many believe it expresses the wisdom and philosophy of ancient China.

I could tell you more about it, but then some "Rasta Elder" might fill up several pages with "thats new age, heathen white supremist crap" "its all untrue and non-sense", so it's best bredrin to stick to burning bushes and decietful god talk as truth.

I actually know alot about the I-Ching. Not from anything I've read or heard about it, But through personal experience.  I did not reply to your post before because its my opinion that your not ready to use the I-Ching, And, alongside not rushing in, its best NOT to listen to anyone's 'opinions' or 'information' about it but to just let, like the bible, the book reveal itself to you, which will shed all the light you seek. I would suggest that you first begin study of the Tao Te Ching By Lao Tzu.

Yes the I-ching, i recomend this Book, it is very Ancient and Believed to be once a old calender.
I use the I-ching everynow and again and it Always Guides i correctly.
It is certainly not something you should get into without any knowledge of Taoist philosphy tho, like Elijah said, its worth Geting the Tao te ching although this is Very very Deep also.
Once you have some overstanding of Yin And Yang you will begin to see it in everyday life and how beutifull and simple it really is,
 if you study the mathmatics of the I-ching you will soon find some interesting things.

In ancient times the holy sages made the Book of Changes thus...
Their purpose was to follow the order of their nature and fate.
Therefore they determined the tao of heaven
and called it dark and light.
They determined the tao of the earth
and called it the yielding and the firm.
They determined the tao of man
and called it love and rectitude.
They combined these three fundamental powers
and doubled them; therefore in the Book of Changes a sign
is always formed by six lines."

If you are thinking of Geting an I-ching i recomend the Alfred Huang Translation, i havent come accross anything better and in depth.
