Greetings in the Name of the Most High
InI bought  my weekly papers yesterday and was overjoyed when I opened The New Nation[u.k] to have my eyes fall upon a copy of the original print taken from Time The Weekly News paper dated October 6th 1963 ."Haile Selassie 1 Emperor of Ethiopia was well recieved when he delivered a speech to delegates at the United Nations conference in California yesterday.
  As the only head of state to have addressed the UN and its predecessors the League Of Nations the 71 year old Monarch is one of the worlds most respected  statesman and accordingly his speech was full of thought provoking messages.
   Speaking on the subject of racial discrimination he told delegates"Until the philosophy, which holds one race superior than another inferrior is finally and permantly discredited and abandoned
 Until there are no longer first class and second class citizens of any nation, until the colour of a mans skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes . Until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without reguard to race; the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion to be persued , but never attained .Until the ignoble and unhappy regimes that hold our brothers in Angola Mozambique and south Africa have been toppled and destroyed.  Until all Africans stand and speak as free beings, the African continent will not know peace We Africans will fight if necessary and we know that we will win as we are confidient in the victory of good over evil..........."
