Gud day to all. i was jus wondering wat rastas think about piercings and tattoos an such things. i knw christians r agenst it an since rastafari follows the bible do rastas believe the same thing?

I would say no for both tattoos and piercings because both of them cut into your flesh for know reason and also a rastas body is meant to be whole and have a piercing in your body in like separating the body. . .  the skin.

Piercings and controversial a very controversial subject among Rastas since we all have different roots and ideas and some of us interpret the scriptures differently. I do agree that piercings are out of the question since they don't have any cultural meaning in any cultures that I know of but for InI tattoos are important since I people have been wearing sacred tattoos for many centuries so I feel that it is right for I to wear them since they have personal significance and help to tell I story seen?
