That dreadlockwearers dont wash their hair is a bad and shamefull lie. We wash our hair as any other man and woman! Locks of my head is as clean as my hair was before dreading and aslong as i entertain my locks and keep them clean, there's nothing to complain about. And about things crawling in your hair, forgot the name of the little animal hehe... Lice? Anyway... There is no bigger chance that a person with locks get them then a person without locks get them. The animal needs blod and therefor sits in the hair at the roots sucking blood from the head. And they cant even crawl into the locks. So everything about that locks cant be washed and containing creeps, is a lie. There can be locks thats dirty and have creeps, but it doesnt mean everyone has it. A man without locks can have them do, but most people dont. The thing that locks arent washed is something i personally think came from people in the world that dont like rastas and dreadlocks so they started a rumor that they are dirty.
There you got your answer brother! Hope it was enough.. hehe...

Bless up!

Cleanliness is next to Godliness !!!! Dreadlocks is InI crown and glory InI covenant with The All Mighty Jah, So they have to be kept clean oiled and maintained. How can I have a clean body and Life and dutty locks?lol dont mek nuh sense. Duttiness doesnt come in a colour/culture/ or faith.

Hear this,

Dreadlocks have to be clean or they take about 10 times aslong to actually dread.
Clean hair dreads up
Dirty Hair DOES NOT

however We do not clean our hair with standard day to day shampoo and conditioner, as this leaves behind sediment.
You have to use either natural things you can get your hands on.
But i recommend you get special DREAD soap/shampoo.

hope InI helped out
