Jus found this out. can anybody xplain to me why he was deposed?frm da things ive read he must hav been a great king so i dont undastand y he would be deposed.LOVE.

My oppinion is that Babylon government put him off the throne, as he was leading the people to Jeshua (Jesus) and God... And aswell he made the Jamaicans 'start' Rastafari way of life... He made good things and Babylon didnt want him to recruit more people to the Ethiopian orthodox church, so they put him off the throne. It wasnt his people who voted him down, it was the government, as they are selfish and only want the best for themselfs. Thats my thoughts regarding that matter. Hope it tells you something good!

Selassie I taught the Africans knowledge that they needed, and he helped the people. but babylon doesn't want to see Africans educated because then they would be able to think for them selves and they wouldn't need babylon, so babylon took HIM of the throne.
