Bless up Idren and Sistren,
does anyone know of a service or meeting taking place on Jan 7? i want to take my young princes, but we have nothing where i live. the nearest big town is London, but as far as i'm aware, st Agnes place is closed down now.
i am trying to instill Christmas as it's meant to be for Ras which is difficult enough, although Eli's playgroup are having a special day to mark Christmas as we celebrate it,(not yule) with drumming , singing and ital food i have said i will prepare so he doesn't feel left out, but i really want to take them somewhere they can see the Elders and catch a little vibe, as they don't see much of that here, and almost of all their education is through me one.
any ideas would be most aprreciloved.

The Ethiopian Orthodox Church in London ( Near St. Pauls ) will be holding midnight mass starting from about 10pm on 6th January through to 7th. I have spoken with my cousin, he said we should all go together.
I will get more information for you. It would be a blessing if you could be with me and my family.

InI dont think im ever going to go to an ethiopian orthodox because i would probably get kicked out and ppl wouldnt want me there cause im white.

donīt worry bredrin, only thing is that itīs very hard to follow the service, because of the amharic language, but youīll feel what itīs all about, that is my personal experience.
I attended several services here in Germany and Addis Abeba and nobody did ever act hostile because of my skin color or my german origin.
Ethiopians love when someone is interested in their culture and especially in their faith, even with the priests I had very interesting reasonings, there are no prjeduices at all.
Go there and findout yourself. I never felt JAH more then there.
