I have never seen Bob as Che- that would make me very sad.

I think that a lot of kids DO know that the colors stand for Africa.
Maybe it will make them think about Rastafari, maybe it will help them remember downpressed people, maybe they will listen to more reggae music.

Who knows- they may even reason with a  Rasta and learn something!!!!

Che Gueverra you'd have to look up and decide for yourself.

He was in tight with Fidel.  Started a lot of revolutions.

I don't know his heart.  ***shaking my head*** I know he is passed, but we should probably pray for the brother.

Please don't be too hard on the kids- if they get into Yah because they bought a cool shirt- it worked.

It is hard not to feel hijacked though.

God bless.

When my friends see the Rasta colors they think that it is Jamaica's colors.  I even correct them but they go on thinking what they want.  What fools.

I agree.  abunch of kids I see at I school wear the rasta colours on clothes without even knowing that its a religion, I tel them that the colours represent the rastafarian religion they jus think that it jus represents smoking weed "like bob marley".  parents around here also look at it the same way and even tel there kids not to wear the colours.  I pray that this wil get beter around here.

Is buying accessories such as hats and bracelets contributing to Babylon's stealing of our colours? If it is I am not sure how to further spread knowledge on the Rastafari movement, I like showing my faith and being proud of it.  In my opinion we should be able to buy such accessories so that people can question and we can answer.  Should people who do not understand the faith buy these items we can question them and give them the answers which they seek.

this saddens me too brothers the people who buy this kind of merchandise rarely consider the spiritual meaning of the red green and gold.  in america this is such a widespread trend at small shops at beaches and fairs that you can rarely take a walk on the boardwalk without seeing someone peddling these items for ridiculous prices.  hopefully Jah will guide them to a more righteous path
