Greetz Breddas and sistas.

I personnaly grow my hair because it doesnt NEED cutting, where is the NEED for short hair but at the same time I hair isnt styled into dreads. I grow my hair coz JAH created me with hair that grows, I dont have any need to style I hair for appearance the same as I dont NEED a haircut. Caring for I appearance is vanity, I dont look at hair and judge the person or form an opinion of the person coz of the haircut they have. I hair grows and will always grow and I wont cut or style it as this is vanity. JAH created all things the way they are for a reason, why cut hair that grows back?

Many blessing to all

I can't. Only that claiming to "not care" is insecure.

"Care" is one of those words with a meaning totally dependent on what is important to the person or non-person and requires more explanation to convey a proper meaning.

Please stop bicker.

Talking about hair.  Locks or no locks very important.  However, everyone has different reasons for keeping their hair the way they do and so long as they are not aesthetic we should respect those reasons.

Not to interrupt your thoughtlessness, But who are you talking to?
By the way why should "aesthetic reason" not be respected?
One's hair is "very important"? This is Rasta to you?

I am talkin to you, brother.  There is no thoughtlessness.  You are not reasoning only arguing.  You desperately want to be right.

Hair is very important as the body is 1. Loaned to you by Jah and 2. one representation of self to the world
To neglect hair is disrespectful to the self and to Jah.

and if you are resisting locks or growing locks for aesthetic reasons then it is wrong.

How could I want what I already have?
Only the thoughtless do not see reason everywhere.
Hair is dead skin.
A vow to JAH is an aesthetic reason.

Hair is dead, yes, but dead hair not dead skin.  This does not mean that hair is unimportant.

If you are so sure you are right why are you here?  To enlighten us, the unlightened?  You are here to learn not preach.  Expressing your belief is bless but allow reasoning around it.

A vow to JAH is no aesthetic reason - an aesthetic reason is that 'it looks good'.  That is no Godly reason.

Blessings

Elijah

If you are sure you are right then you can never grow spiritually.  InI believe you haffi listen twice as much as you speak - you are on a spiritual journey, as is everyone else here and to insist that you are right is only ignorant.

InI say it is wrong to get locks if your only reason is because they look good to the self, or the self thinks they will look good to others.  The reason has to come from the inside.
