nobody really celebrates Christ at christmas anymore tho
its mainly about the presents for all people same with
easter you dont go pray do you? you eat your chocolate
and your happy.
so i would say yes it is fine to celebrate christmas in the way of a
family tradition rather than a religous tradition.
Im full Rasta and have been
for quite a while now, and i still sit down at christmas with
family members and share the love of christmas the once a
year where everybody is happy in someway.

So if you are RAS dont look at it as a religous study, look at it as a
family time a time of being peaceful and uniting with people
around the world to bring happiness to each other.

You then make the above statement to which my response is ; If you are a Christian (or profess to be) then of course you should .
However in answer to your question as; why not Knowledge. Then allow me to reply as follows;
First of all; as Redge rightly states: "Nobody really celebrates Christmas anymore tho" Which is indeed a true sound. The majority of people use Xmas and Easter as an excuse to immerse themselves in materialism and revelry and gorge themselves (in the main) on Turkey, Chocolate and Alcohol.

But to answer your question as to why not? Given that Jesus wasn't born on the 25th December and as he wasn't crucified at Easter, I think is reason enough not to celebrate.

CHRISTmas is named for CHRIST Mithra.
It was a well-established "holiday" LONG before Yahushuah was born.

Easter is a PAGAN "holiday" LONG celebrated by KILLING BABIES.

Easter=Ashterah=Aphrodite=Isis.

READ YOUR PROPHETS.

Jeremiah 7:18 specifically admonishes those who bake cakes (hot "cross" buns- the cross is the sign of Tammuz) for the queen of heaven, ie, "Easter", Ashterah.

So in-as-much as Rastas are Freemasons willingly hijacked from true faith, yes, celebrate "Christ"mas and Easter.

In-as-much as Rastas are believers in Yah the creator of the universe, celebrate these pagan abominations at your own peril.
