I'm new to rasta so please forgive my ignorance, but I was wondering what were the thoughts on the consumption of alcohol? From what I've read, its generally deemed unhealthy and a tool of babolyn to confuse. . . what do you think?

If you look at rasta as a livity and the body a the temple of the most high then alcohol is a no go.

For those who deal inna scripture version of Rasta : if Alchohol so bad then why Jees-us drink wine all de time ? To me it seems he had some real wine issues. Almost for every meal mentioned him took it with wine.
Why can Noah punish him son so bad for finding him drunk and covering him "drunk ass" out of respect ?
Why bible so against it and at the same time many in it drink it without punishment ?

Just some reasonable questions...

Well Noah was surely not "moderate" and still had the right fe punish him son ..... Noah was a drunkard like many more in the bible = fact. And those same people were considered to be holy - seen. So wha' a gwaan ??

Love is the highest commandment anyway not what goes in through your mouth.

well yuh dun kno, I&I elder Kanye West was sighted sipping the ital hennessy at the MTV awards the other night, which is when he went up to speak the truth against that babylon whore Taylor Swift, while saluting the black woman and child by promoting di gyal beyonce. Obviously, Hennesy makes di I's dem speak the truth. Other true rastas like T Pain and Sizzla drink the ital hennessy too. AN'sooooo

as it has been said before moderation is the key, know your limits. be considerate don't make yourself a burden or hazard to others or yourself. I also agree that the bible is two-faced at times, i believe because it has been altered over the centuries and distorted to adapt to peoples personal beliefs

And that the drunkenness is drunkenness on the wine of babel?

I read somewhere that the "uncovered nakedness" referred to one of his sons sleeping with Noah's wife?

Alcohol is beneficial if taken with purpose, and I am talking about organic, and not
the Babylon Capitalist_ism products, which purpose id only to intoxicate the (I)...
I personally have my own coconut tree,
which I get my own organic Red wine  "Tuba"
naturally fermented inside a bamboo.

People in our community used "tuba"  to treat children
with trematode and nematode infestation..

This post has been bothering me.

So Taylor Swift is a whore because she is white?

And Kanye is cool because he got drunk and completely humiliated a white girl?

Kanye was very sorry for what he had done, Beyonce was embarrassed no end, but showed extreme class in giving her mic to Taylor.

Which music is better is a matter of OPINION and TASTE.

Which behavior is better is a matter of MORALS.

To turn this into a race issue, as you have, is shameful and base.

To raise up Kanye for his behavior is to do the adversary's work for him.

Think upon your assessment of this act.
