it seems you already know the fundamental basics of ras tafari.
 i would suggest having a read up on some of the more spiritual aspects to rasta, such as the Mansions of Rastafari, such as the Twelve Tribes.

it may also take your interest to read about some of ethiopian history such as the orthodox Tewahedo church or Haile Mariam . . .

hey, you could also learn the ethiopian national anthem, just for a bit of patriotic fun
