Greetings Brother Makez, family of Judah, in the name of the living God Emperor Haile Selassie I. My advice, is that you do as the Wonderful Counselor commands us: "read and study the bible". It is through the Bible that we come to understand and justify how His Majesty Haile Selassie First is God. 1Timothy 3:16 saids "great is the mystery of Godliness: God was manifested in the flesh and justified in the Spirit (Word=Bible-John 6:63) seen of angels (ministers= keepers of light- Psalms 103:20-21, 104:4), and preached unto the gentiles.

The ways of Rasta is that of Christ: read and study the holy books, and keep the commandments of God. "Remember the seventh day to keep it holy". The Sabbath is the sign of God; in revelation it is the Coronation of God; the day he reveals his glory and power to his creation. This was and is the promise of God. The entire bible exhorts us to waite for the coming of God; that great and marvellous day. November 2, 1930 is that great and glorious day; the four corners of the earth rejoiced and marveled-read His Majesty's Silver Jubilee-Psalms 48, 87, 97,98, Eziekel 38:23, Zachariah 14:1-9, Joel 2:1-11, Hebrew 12:18-29, Revelation 19:1-17, Daniel 7:9-10, Isaiah 44:6-9, Deuteronomy 4:23-38, Romans 1:18-20, Isaiah 43:9-13, Isaiah 9:6, Psalms 87:4-6, Jeremiah 17:12, Genesis 2:9-13, Hebrew 11:9-16, Psalms 76:1-2, Amos 9:7-11, Psalms 119:49-52, Psalms 95, Hebrews 4:1-4, and Psalms 68:31-35. While the religions of the world still believe and teach their subordinates that this great day symbolize a terrible destruction of the world, the bible tells us that this is a glorious day. In reality, the end of the world the bible speaks of is the end of these old ways of thinking. While we were taught by religious leaders that God is invisible and no flesh can see him, Job 19:25-27 refute saying: "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reigns be consumed within me." The bible tell us that through Christ we will come to know God. Haile Selassie  commanded us to follow Jesus Christ. Why, because the Bible saids that no man had seen God but Jesus Christ, and those who Christ will reveal the Father to. References Matthew 11:25-27, John 6:45-47-John 3:16-John17:3. Through Christ we become sons of God, that is, we become like Christ who first seen and understood that Haile Selassie I is the fulment of the Living God. Only Christ have this gospel that God is manifested in the flesh. The rest of the world says no man can see God, but that is not the promise of the Father. Titus 2:11-13 tell us to look for the coming of God and the coming of Jesus Christ, his messenger. Christ bears witness to the Word of truth. The truth is that the Almight God who was invisible before the world was is now manifested in the form of man that he may establish is principles and make known his will for the children of men. This is how God saves mankind; for either destruction or development of humanity lies solely in our hands. Psalms 67 and Romans 1:18-21. Haile Selassie I have laid an eternal foundation of peace and prosperity for all. Eventhough the Nations of the world have forgotten H.I.M, His righteousness remains indisputable. The scholars of the world knows this but they chose to trust in their own imagination. Read: Psalms 9:15-20, Psalms 14, and Romans 1:20-32.

His Majesty exhorts that "That love shown by our God to mankind should constrain all of us who are followers and disciples of Christ, to do all in our power to see to it that the Message of Salvation is carried to those of our fellows who have  not had the benefit of hearing the Goods News." Therefore, in fulfiling this command I am extending my time to reasoning with all who are interested. My phone # 347-737-4242.

i need help.  me parents are christian and wont respect my rasta beliefs.  i told them that i joined the rasta movement strictly because everything believed by rastas is strictly biblical.  they argue everything (especially the ganja) and dont think that i'll be a rasta for long.  i don't smoke ganja because they ask me not to and i know it will hurt them.  however, i do sing about, i have smoked it before, and i do burn incense for and celebration and worship.  should i be guilty if i go behind their backs and smoke? i have another concern.  i live near houston and there are no places of worship for rastas.  my parents also make go to a christian church.  first off, is wrong to befriend a christian.  and is there a place of worship i can go?

 Greetings friend,
your beliefs are your own, and this is your life, we are all made to be free and make our own desicions, but you dont have to smoke ganja to be rasta. and you can befriend anyone, no matter what religion, we dont discriminate, we love all people. also you dont have to go anywere to worship, ini need no temples to worship HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY. Just learn and dont stop learning.

ALWAYS TROD RASTA IN YOUR YOUTH WITHOUT GANJA. As the I gets older, perhaps the I might accept ganja, be more responsible with the herb, and decide what livity he wishes to live. Herb is not essential, correct, but it is an important aspect of a Rastafari livity, nonetheless. Herb is the tree of good and evil as cited in Revelations and is advocated in Genesis in the Bible. So don't be tricked by these politicians who try to tell the I thats its immoral to smoke herb. All religions in some time in history have used the herb as a sacrament until Babylon outlawed it. So, always advocate its use, but do not take it up until much meditation has taken place and the I is of an older, wiser age.
I went through the same thing. Study the Bible, go through these phrases that uphold Rastafari laws and defend I and I's position on the herb, and share them with your parents. Thats what Iman did with I mother, and she understood I a lot better. Try and speak about how herb has benefited the I without sounding too pushy or in other words "like them", then getting to the conclusion that you are done with it, completely until you are old enough to overstand its correct medicinal and spiritual use. May Jah bless your journey.
