Stephen Marleys Ina di red is one of my favourit songs right now, feels dead on. most of the lyrics is pretty self explainatory, but what is he getting at with this part?

"And if a egg, natty inna di red
And if a egg, natty inna di red
Rasta inna it, natty inna di red
And if a egg, natty inna di red"

I know Bob also used this verse in one of his songs. This is what I got on urban dictionary:
"A jamaican saying that means loosely that the speaker is centrally involved in any or everything.
The saying comes from the analogy of an egg. In jamaica the yolk is called "red", and the yolk is in the middle of the egg.
you goin to da concert mon?-jah! natty inna di red mon!!!"

So hes trying to say that the herb helps even tho the gossip condemns it?  It really is a great song, its very close to how I feel about the herb. "So I  took a walk inside, talked to I iself"

I have seen the wailers once before and if the performance will be half as good then i will be in an irie state Smiley  Last time it almost felt like bob was there himself in spirit.
