I know the commandment says "Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.", but is it wrong for a Rasta to hate one of his parents? When I was young, my father was always beating me, insulting me while using bad language and things like that. My parents are divorced. So, if there's still a good reason (like the one that I have) is it ok for a Rasta not to honor his father?

Does the scripture not also teach that I and I should forgive those who sin against I and I? True that the I's father should not have acted in such a way. He was not acting as a father should and there is no reason the I should accept that. But ask the Iself if the I would be the same man without the I's father. If the I doesn't honour him for his actions and conduct then fair enough, but do not hate the man.

Blessed love.

Well, the problem is he never apologized and never stopped treating me like that. If he could, he would still beat me now. I meet him once a week, because the law says so. He still insults me for listening to reggae music, for having a Rasta theme on my phone, if I go to something like an IT competition and get the 1st or if I achieve something important he tells me "Meh, anyone could do that, you're still an idiot", he just treats me like trash... If he would've apologized and stopped doing that I would've forgiven him...

Learning to forgive him will be harder then but it doesn't change the fact that I and I should forgive those who sin against I and I. Difficult as it may be, showing love to the man in the face of his hate will do more good than hatred.

Blessed love.

BlessedLove,
There is a view that states before we are born, we walk through a cave and view various families that our Irit wants to be a part of.  We travel through time with similar cosmic family personalities, trying to elevate our Karma through conscious action and compassion.  Our Dharma may be thought of as our Souls purpose in this life cycle.  So, there should be NO hatred.
Only the recognition that each negative situation that present itself is in fact an oportunity to graduate to a higher Iritual rung on the ladder.  If we look to your father Super, we may see that all that he is projecting on to you is ACTUALLY directed at his self, only he lacks the compassion to recognize that it is HE that is fill with torment.  And like a child will cry to whom ever is around and interrupt their flow.
Be like water.  Rise, calmly to the levels that simply ...overflow.  Then...roll on down the river of life.  No need to get grumpy.
BlessUP
