dry breaking locks need of rescue and help and advice

hello

my locks are about two years old and lately they have started to break off.   They seem to have become weak about three inches before the ends of the locks which causes them to become thinner and break off this three inches from the end. 

I have heard a mixture of remedies that could help but need more advice and clarification as i really do not want any more to break.   i have two that have broken and more seem very weak. 

aloe Vera
hair oils
apoghee treatment

any advice that would be able for them to get the moisture that they need and save anymore from breaking off would be very helpful.

may I ask wat does cause yah hair break?? do you use someting in it?
