As a Rastafari, I have been growing angry towards the Pope and the Catholic Church for I man think they are some of the worst Babylonian people out there. But a couple days ago I was reading a book called Haile Selassie's War and contrary to much bullshit within the text, it also stated that Selassie I was once a Roman Catholic. I and I can not accept or else H.I.M. could have not put so many good works out there. Don't want this to make I go astray.

I think the I called it out already when you identified bullshit in the book. His Majesty was raised in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and remains the head of that church. His Majesty did learn French from a Catholic missionary but was never a Catholic.

Blessed love.

Yes I,
I was unsure of the "fact" since it has been said that the Catholic Pope blessed Mussolini's troops in invading Ethiopia.
Note: The book, I would venture to say, is almost Anti-Rasta. Contrary to this, an interesting thing that was said in the text was that Selassie's son is living in a Rastafarian commune in England. Don't know if this is true or not, since there was no concrete evidence to prove it, but if it is legitametly true, then I find it interesting that His own Son would find some sort of divinity in His own Father.

True that the pope blessed Mussolini's troops and supported the invasion of Ethiopia. Heaps of fire have to burn on that.

True enough also that His Majesty's son has links with the Twelve Tribes of Isreal in England. I met a Ras in February from Twelve Tribes who was the son's head of security for a while. Like many of the Twelve Tribes though he was speaking more of Christ than His Majesty. From what this Ras told I, His Majesty's son is pointing the Idren towards Christ as His Majesty did.  Personally I don't sight that Reasoning that there is separation between His Majesty and Christ but I know many Twelve Tribes Rastas see His Majesty more as a messenger of Christ and that I think is linked with the influence of His Majesty's son.

Blessed love.
