Hello fellow Idren,
I have followed this forum for a very long time now, and have finally decided to join. A few things about me before I begin (so the I can understand I):
I am a white male who has grown up very blessed, despite some struggles. My parents never forced any religion on I, and I feel lucky for that. In my early childhood and teenage years, I challenged my beliefs, and have since been studying all forms of science, philosophy, and religion in order to learn as much as I can in InI's short time on this planet. My understanding of the universe and truth is always evolving and changing forms. Rasta has always appealed to me and I feel as if Jah has called to me; however, my research into scientific theory and my somewhat anti-religious opinions force me to remain atheistic. :-\
Now, my reason for joining is because I wanted to learn more about my broken faith with Rasta, so I may be able to find what I truly believe.
I ask for help from any whom may be willing to take the time to answer my questions. Bless up and thanks.

I believe that we are all one. I have learned from Quantum physics, Chaos Theory, and String Theory that this world is not only surface deep and mechanical like modern day scientists and religious skeptics see it. I have had experiences, through use of herb, psychedelics, meditation, and research, that have influenced my beliefs on the depth of reality. I believe that all possible alternate universes of this one exist, and that each universe and it's entire time period reflect into one 4th dimensional being. This reminds me of the idea of a god who is in all, and is the "alpha and omega. " String theory continues to say how these alternate universes all branch from an infinite number of possible universes from a single beginning. Like an infinite number of big bangs. All of these infinite universes then connect to the final 10th dimension which is the infinite eternal. Scientests in the quantum field suggest that 1st dimensional strings vibrating in this 10th dimension are what create the leptons, quarks, and bosons that are the puzzle pieces of the universe. This, along with Chaos Theory, which shows that all chaotic, random things become part of a pattern at a certain point, has created my scientific (yet still somewhat spiritual and outlandish) beliefs. :o
Sorry for the lengthy, crazy paragraph.
Anyways, my beliefs are:
I believe that this world is scientific on the surface, yet that it is all merely part of the illusion of the quantum world. I believe that we are all one at the center of our existence, as we truly are. We are built of the same material, and in essence are all connected. I follow a Buddhist and Taoist approach to philosophy, only to me enlightenment is reaching ego destruction, realizing full truth, losing oneself entirely. This enlightenment can be reached by attaining knowledge, meditating, and possibly experimenting with natural psychedelics; but ultimately it is reached after death. Death is really just our 3D self ending and becoming a part of the 4D existence in which our entire life flashes before us, and we see all as one. This is the true nature of death in my opinion. We will eventually all become one and transcend into the higher dimensions, eventually reaching the final infinite eternal.
This probably all sounds like insane, rambling gibberish. But I assure the I that all of this is grounded in scientific research and theory. I want to stress that I do not consider myself a true Rasta as I do not fully believe in everything the scriptures say, nor do I believe in a specific god. I do believe, however, that all the Greek gods, and all other gods in human history are man's creation in explaining their feelings of connecting with the cosmos. In my opinion, names to gods are only human construction. The OT and NT are filled with enough historical inaccuracies and contradictions to capture my faith. But reading through religious texts and philosophical ideas, I have come to find that there are many similarities that point to the same idea. Jah, to me, represents this idea of oneness and truth. Jah is the God of the Bible, but also the combined existence of all other gods, of all people, of everything. Jah is the 10th dimension, Jah is the truth, InI is made from, by, and is Jah.
No disrespect to any Rasta is meant by this strange theory. I wish to become more truly Rasta, but my lack of faith in the truth of the testaments and the idea of the exact depiction of the God of the Bible keeps me from joining this beautiful religion.
Sorry for anything I may have said that has offended the I. Jah Bless, apologies and thanks to those who read my long post. One love. :)
