bless Idren fuh yuh knowledge but alot of black-rastamen tell me only black people come from africa! so im not exactly sure? i know mankind comes from africa and everyone is brother and sister but how can i say that if me own rasta bredren and sistren tell me africa is only for the black man! i think that if i know where my root is from then that is like africa for me! like lebanon is my ethiopia!? is that cool to know! and find out more about my lebanese culture,language,heritage? feel meh?

Let I clear something up here...
Yes, mankind began in Africa. All nations came out of the Black nation and Africa is the Root of creation. The knowledge and recognition of this is one of the foundation stones of RastafarI. But in this time, Africans can be defined as those in Africa itself and in the Diaspora who are Black of skin. It is to these people that Africa belongs and it is these people that I and I seek to return Africa to. No doubt that there are non-Africans in Africa doing good works and maybe after babylon the great is fallen, Africans may accept those Righteous people from every nation who fought the good fight, but it must be clear (and I think many get confused about this) that Africa belongs to its people. Just as America belongs to the Native Americans and Europe belongs to the Europeans. It is because nations do not recognise this that such inhuman atrocities have been committed by man against his fellow man and continue to be committed in this time. I and I should not fall into that same folly.
As for knowing the I's culture, I say forward with that. I and I know that the almighty is in flesh, and to know HIM, I and I must know I and Iselves. True, that RastafarI people of every nation know plenty about African culture and things (Africa being the Root of all Creation), but those of I and I who are not Africans must know I and Iselves also, or else I and I will not know the Almighty. When I till the soil here in England, or go out and hold a meditation in the woods, it is in full knowledge of Iself as an Englishman that the Almighty reveals HIMself. I know that I ancestors tilled this soil before I, and sat in these woods around the fire before I. True that there are plenty of things in the modern English culture that are pure wickedness. I burn fire on those things and reject them in favour of Righteousness. I find Iself going back to the Roots in the land and in the heart of Iself which is the Almighty to rebuild I own Righteous culture out of the twisted mess that babylon has made of it.
So forward with knowing the Iself and forward with Righteous works. All else will follow with time.
