You can't be both, you have to choose one of them.

If it's bad now, why still consider yourself a catholic person? When you say catholic in name, what do you mean? Like in your religion section of your ID card or something? If yes, then Rastas don't care about what is in this documents, you only need to be a Rasta in your soul, not in papers.

I am an orthodox in my papers. But I'm not orthodox in my heart; in my heart I consider myself a Rasta. Rasta is a soul thing, not a paper thing.

What is a church but a building of stone that I and I have been told is the house of the Almighty?

Now I can't speak for the I personally, and I have never been part of the Catholic church, but if a man told I that to have I salvation in some after-life, I had to walk into a building filled with idols on Sundays, listen to a sermon in a dead language I couldn't overstand, then bow on my knees at an alter and eat and drink what is supposed to be the flesh and blood of a dead man, I would burn him out. Such a thing is bowing to the Pope of Rome who blessed Mussolini's troops and bombs before they sailed to invade Ithiopia. The Pope that fights against attempts to stop the spread of AIDs in Africa. The Pope that blessed the colonialists as they went to rape and plunder across the earth. The Pope that endorsed the residential schools that beat and tortured the culture out of countless generations of people across the globe. The Pope that defends and hides child molesters in his church...

I and I God and King is the Living King Haile Selassie I, who stands for the poor and downpressed and Lives in flesh. I and I couldn't stand for such things, let alone bow to them.

Blessed love.

No, I don't have anything to do with the orthodox things at all, it's just in my documents and that's all, for me it's just another form of Babylonian domination.
@Nazarite I funny thing: Today, while I was on the bus, I saw a woman do the cross sign because the bus passed by the church and then she slapped her son for not doing so. Haha.

i bredren i worships jah within i heart and in the presence of iself alone and when iself is emersed in the presence of nature ! church on sunday is always nice to go too but god is found within iself not in the sky above or in a building! and i think my priest would agree!(not all of them are child molesters) i personally think that the vatican has outlived its purpose plus its corrupt i think it should be made into a museum. see during the middle ages alot of people were illterate so they did whatever the vatican told them but most people today can read the bible in thier native tongue so the faithful are less dependant on the church! i only know jah the creator and hold HIM as defender of the christian faith. and yeshua kristos as the son of man (not god)

It might be nice for you, but it's not the Rasta way. Why would you need to go to Church on Sunday? You go there and worship material, bowing to silver and gold.

"You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." is one of the commandments.

Yes I, but the Bobo know that the Almighty lives in flesh, not in the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle doesn't have idols. Nor do they bow on their knees and eat flesh and drink blood in their services...

It's not a building thing, it is that these buildings are called 'houses of God' when the Almighty doesn't live in buildings but Manifests HIMself in flesh.

Blessed love.

yes i, his majesty been known to dwell in buildings, but like the next man seh, you can't be in two buildings at once, either you in the one or you in the other. there are many buildings on the yard though and when it rain it fall on all of them.

Yes I, of course in flesh His Majesty lives in buildings. In fact, I've been up at Fairfield House today where His Majesty lived, but I was speaking of the Iritual not the physical.
A lot of the Christian churches have this doctrine that the Irits of the Almighty dwell in their churches or in the sky or in some other plain or wherever. Point is that I and I burn fire on that, because I and I know that the Irits of His Majesty are in Mankind and Manifest every day, right here in the physical. True that I and I have Tabernacles and significant places, but I and I are under no illusions that that these are anything more than buildings that serve the purpose of housing I and I gatherings. I and I might purify the space with Incense and chanting, and through that make it ready for I and I purpose, but I and I put no faith in the building itself, just the Almighty.

Blessed love.
