Apart from the obvious i.e. no meat, what other foods do you not eat, perhaps for the reason of moral conduct of the producing company rather than actual composition of the food?  And what kind of foods do you eat on a day to day basis?

Just interested.

Personally, I avoid grapes and all grape products. Normally salt as well, but I do occasionally use sea salt in cooking. Certainly not the chemical salt though, stictly natural sea salt.
As well I avoid anything strong in caffeine like coffee or soft drinks. Same thing goes for anything that has a lot of additives. If it has something on the ingredients list that I don't know, then I don't eat it.
At the moment as well I am working on cutting out dairy products completely. For the most part they are already gone from I diet, but there are a couple of things I still eat on a regular basis that have milk in.

Blessed love.

Definitely no salt. (Matthew 5:13-16:).
The I is striving to remove all soya products form I diet due to the damage to Mamma Earth caused by production in the Amazon and China.

Could the I explain about no salt? I can't see how this passage is referring to eating of salt. Iman may have read a bad translation of it.

From the I`s reasoning and overstanding only, if I n I are the salt of the earth already there is no need to replenish it with extra.

Soldiers of babylon where also paid in salt and slaves were bought and paid for in salt. Hence the saying " worth ones weight in salt".

I think you're interpreting that verse wrong. It also says that we are the light of the world and that doesn't mean we don't need any light at all.

The I interprets it to mean that the salt is the I`s virtue. That is the real salt.  The goodness that the Most High puts in us. I n I can not substitute that goodness by eating more salt.

Salt in moderation is vital to the body. When people sweat, they loose a lot of salts that need to be replaced from food. A lot of foods have natural salts, but a little salt in cooking can be a good way to regain them.
Certainly though salt in excess is very bad, and a lot of processed foods contain seriously high levels of salt. That is why I and I see increasing levels of heart conditions and high blood pressure in this time, because people's diets are packed full of salt and sugar.

Salt enables the body to retain fluids which are essential for regulating the blood pressure mechanism.....if an individual has a tendency towards high blood pressure then an excessive salt intake may, as Nazarite points out, contribute to health issues....by the same token however, an individual with a tendancy towards low blood pressure may experience severe illness as a result of a lower than nessesary intake of salt....
I don't believe that in all honesty there can really be any hard and fast rules applicable to everyone in such matters....I suggest a subjective interpretation of such Biblical rulings....take them with a pinch of salt Wink

I've made a point lately of not knowingly buying any food from occupied Palestine (Isreal).
Nessesity has overruled desire in the form of Lactose intolerance leading me to cut out (much loved) milk products, which in this country is akin to positioning oneself next to a wind turbine whilst attempting to avoid the wind itself,  Cheesy. Removal of Milk Products in combination with other factors led me to the unenthusiastic desicion to go back to meat after many years away from it. I noticed that the body was far more willing than the mind in this respect, but the situation remains uneasy Iternally. que sera, sera.

Options to meat.
The I knows that a lot of people forgoing the eating of flesh and turning the temple into a charnel  house may be tempted to eat vegan/vegetarian substitutes such as soya or qourn . Be aware if buying soya products of the damage that is presently being caused to mamma earth by deforestation to provide growing room for it. Protein is available through other foods  outside of soy. Alternatively if I n I have the space grow your own. I avoid quorn as it is a fungus and like other mushrooms takes its life from death and decay. When I have eaten it in the past I was put of by its close resemblance to flesh in both taste and texture.

The iblical quote was purely my I-terpretation as stated. The amount of salt your body actually requires is tiny and available Ital-y in  food.

Blessed love.

Mi Idrin

Re your avoidance of quorn, Some fungus are deadly and some are edible, but you can't really dis the fungus for doing it's work (as designed by!!!)
At the end of day all food is decayed in order to transfer the energy. that's how it works.  Don't get me wrong here, but all the reasoning's used by some to explain their dietary preference based upon Leviticus et al, is neither here or there, I personally I don't eat meat and fish, but not because of some biblical reason. But because personally I don't feel that a life has to die for I to obtain sustenance. As for the consumption of salt I can see the merits of Rock/Sea salt as opposed to the processed table salt (that stuff can mess you up)
