Libya is all over the news so little is know about EU selling out to the GMO suckers. Argument being basically that the ism shippers are too lazy to clean out the GMO produce when shipping other stuff.

Who is buying this GMO stuff anyway? I have already asked for proper labeling on food. I have seen nothing.
Posted on: August 22, 2011, 02:57:19 PMIt turns out the thing was about animal fodder. Anyhow, I think any food where GMO has been part of the production should be properly labeled. Luckily I don't eat animals.

I'm disgusted by the deceptiveness of the argument and the secrecy of it all.

Greetings Oskar,
  The coding of food here in the us is 3 part...so far.
All food must be labled with a 4 digit code.  This code shows where the food is from and being 4 digit means any herbicial/hormonal practice may have been used.
second is Organic...it is labled 5 digit code , always beginning with the numeral 9
lastly is GMO...it is also 5 digit, but always begins with an 8

The way I remember it is 9 is the perfect number,  any multiple of it always reduces down to 9
8 is infinity, and if we choose to use GMO...we will be dependent on them forever.  Like the farmers who buy their seeds from GMO companies, they are obliged to buy next years crop seeds with the portion of the gain from this years yield.  The fruit will not produce viable seeds.

This is what you claim? Yet farmers all over have problems with their organic seedstocks being contaminated. Try to google "gmo contamination organic seeds".

GMO crops are genetically modified and MARKED to effectively place a patent on this particular species...which the company owns. 
Now if farmer Joe, across the road see the wind blowing across
Big Corp Farm...and the ripe plant spread it pollen in the air and cross road pollinate farmer Joe's crops then guess what...the genetic marker placed in Big Corp Farm crop shows up in farmer Joe's...
who do you think owns THAT crop??.  Not Joe.
 
He will spend ALL his money trying to fight Big Corp Farms lawers.

true that. the way the FDA let this stuff through without proper testing makes one wonder if they are working for the meddling companies or public safety.
