The claim that Ganja was found growing on King Solomon's grave is a lie. There is no real historical record for King Solomon, but lets say for arguments sake he was real, no one knows where he's grave is. No where in the Bible or any other text does it mention King Solomon having cannabis growing on he's grave.

It was probably made up by some one to say that Ganja gave you knowledge like Solomon.

Herb is mentioned in the Bible under the name Kaneh Bosm, which is mistranslated in the King James version and many versions based on it as being calmus, a potent hallucinogen. The word 'cannabis' in the English language traces it's origins to the Greek 'Kaneh Bosm' which roughly translates as 'fragrant reed'.
In the Old Testament, I think it is only mentioned once (although don't quote I on that, it could be there more than once and I just don't remember) as a major ingredient in the anointing oil used to bless the heads of Kings and Priests, as well as the ancient Nazarites.
Historically speaking, herb was definitely present in the area throughout all of recorded or known history, so even if it didn't grow on King Solomon's grave then it was certainly poured over his head at his coronation.

Blessed love.

Because the purpose of the oil was to anoint the heads of kings and priests. Anointing has been part of coronation ceremonies longer than I can think of and the oil that would have been used in the coronation of King Solomon would have had about three pounds of Kaneh Bosm suspended in about one litre of oil. Anybody who has ever made ganja oil knows how potent that is.

Blessed love.

I don't know if cannabis was used to anoint the head of kings. There is no evidence of that.

However, I do know that the fat of crocodiles was used in the preparation that was used for anointment. (A some Babylonian practice still)
Indeed Queen Elizabeth II was anointed with some kind of oil at her coronation.

As for Solomon's Grave, Yeah that story would be nice - if it was true, but it isn't.

Herb is indeed the healing of the nation on many levels - that's why the system bans it and will continue to do so.
