Greetings to all who read this  Smiley

                I have managed to get my house on the right path in eating Good and Healthy food.
                                                           v ITAL FOOD.  Grin
When cooking food the Ital way I find it hard to find sauces which are not full of chemicals, I was wondering if there are any Recipes for Sauces that could be shared with I, Also I just got told that Sweet Potato is from a vein tree.... I always thought they grew like normal Potatoes Huh? Do theI's know if this is true ? As I have not took the Nazarite vow but I try to make sure I don't eat off the Vein. Thanks.

For a start, sweet potato is a root vegetable, unless the I counts the young leaves and shoots that can be eaten like greens. In terms of sauces, the I can make a decent sauce out of vegetable stock, which will pick up the flavours of any vegetables, herbs or spices in the dish. The I can make the stock from cubes (but be careful when buying. Few stock cubes are Ital) or simply reserving things like carrot peel, leek leaves and general vegetable matter and boiling it up in some water with some herbs, half an onion and whatever else the I wants to put in it. That will keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks and it can be added to any dish to create a sauce by cooking it in with the vegetables and seasoning with herbs and spice. To thicken it if it is too watery, add a good pinch of gram flour to the dish before adding the stock and it will thicken the sauce.
