But i feel like no matter what i do i dont connect with jah. i listen to i speak online, read of i history, but just feel so far away from i and i. have always been of peace. i love life, and all jah children. i have used the herb since i was very young, but want to know how to use it right. too know jah and be a rastaman. please help. i guess im asking, how do i immerse myself in rasta. to think, eat, and breath jah. also any advice on how to use sensi to be with jah. and what are some fundemental psalms, prayers, or scriptures to begin i journey.

what are your reasons for 'wanting to be rasta'? do you know why africans are in the diaspora? rasta is the movement born from the struggle against the babylon system that has dominated the world for so long. herb is a tool not necessary yet helpful to an extent to clear the mind away from the stress and confusions of babylon and connect with nature and natural living. with the knowledge that i am not separate from the whole of creation i realize that what i do unto others is what i do unto myself, i don't want to feed on other beings. thus i embark on the (v)ital livity against the wants and desires of babylon.
when i started reading the bible i began with the gospel, proverbs, psalms and revelation.

from what i know, the piby along with garvey, serve to promote nationalism though and anyone moving in that direction is moving away from rastafari. read this thread for more information on the subject: http://forums.rasta-man.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,8339.0.html

I would say the whole Bible is very important, but I would start from the beginning of the Bible read the 5 books of Moses Learn the roots, maybe smoke a little herb when doing so would be best if you smoked some sativa in I opinion, read it slow think about what it happening.
