transparency in these international relations and the world community regulating this would make people from all around the world able to check that things are as they are supposed to be. what is required is that the world agree that equal rights and justice is the proper state of world order. with transparency in regard to this issue it would be clear who is opposing the implementation of justice.

does it really make a difference if it is a small number of native nationals? the best use of any resource or knowledge is when it serves all people of all nations.
conflict and chaos makes it easier for dishonest people to extract gain for themselves so peace is the main interest that serve all people.
I agree that transparency would help, and given that HIM was intimately involved with the creation of the UN, it makes sense that that would be one of the aims of its establishment. I don't know the degree of transparency that's in place now, but I do know that much of the information about financial transactions and executive salaries are publicly available since that vast number of companies extracting resources for sale in world markets are public corporations that report the details of their costs/sales, their agreements with national governments etc. If one had the time, the amount of wealth leaving Africa in connection with her resources could be quantified. I know that production of resources is big big money, and I'd expect a very large sum is leaving Africa with little or no chance of it being used for African projects and the local economies. So in this sense, I do think it would make a difference if these large profits were going into the pockets of native nationals, even if its a small number, as they'd be much much more likely to be returned back into local economies.
