Give thanks Brotha Ke I guess InI really was hoping that we could break down our Iliefs instead of generalising, Rastafari is more than the feel good factor of One Love and the expectations of Rasta can differ fi some  and what is acceptable again differs, Jah set a livity fi us to follow so we would know and overstand what is expected of we as children of Jah, so to aid we in our trod,  InI overstand that many of we here at Nicks ilieve Rasta to be a lot of things so this is why InI is asking

Blessed Love

Being Rasta in these times is foremost a realization of the significance of these times. Serious times!!
Realizing what it really means to live in a 'post-coronation' world. One must realign ALL that they have been taught through out their lives, sometimes abandoning family and friends to follow ones heart in the love of god, and desire to work for his will. Rasta is laying the groundwork for JAH's millennial kingdom, Not with roads and buildings but the 'infrastructure of the mind'. Everything else is detail, JAH calls us to be Spiritual Warriors, and once our Spiritual Battle is won, the rest will just fall into place like magic. Nice Up Nya!

As someone who is unashamedly rasta despite living in the heart of a babylon country there are several things that are Issential.   Firstly the recognition that African is the motherland and that to Africa we must all repatriate, however repartraition can take many forms whilst it would be prefferential to repartiate in body it is equally important to repatriate the mind.   The physical can be limiting but the spirit is free from all the constraints of moden life and as such there is no excuse for not freeing the mind.

Above even that though is the acceptance that the trickery that we get teach in school is an illusion, A complete love and obediance to the teachings of his majesty is a must and an absolute raspect for bredda and sistrens opinons.

Love is absoloute but not a foolish unhindered love, tough love is needed sometimes fo educate people and bring them too the right path, whilst we love freely we also love dearly and as such cannot be seen to waste our love on those who will not fulljoy the blessings of being loved.

Rasta is not a religion or a believe because wherever there is believe doubt can creep in and there should be no doubt when trodding on the righteous path, absolute faith in the guiding hand of JAH the almighty Irator.

To rasta means an acceptance of everyone but that does not mean the same as tolerance, through we sight the truth we must speak the truth.   Also as rasta and as being called too the righteous path it is saldy a fact that babylon will try every trick to cause us to stumble, love and raspect for InInI is a must, babylon causes enough problems so mek wi stand strong together.

JAH is LOVE so let us all love

Yes Welcome words of wisdom and truth Brudda Prophet-Tielo!!!!
hafe love dat!!!!!
As Mi Brudda Elijah say serious Times!!!!
life on the line yet life is sacred
Love in action yet love sometimes hurts
peace to all yet no peace without truth and justice
heart open but with protection from the God of Love AND death
Jah is Mighty, fear him, dread him, yet trust him, love him with all I heart
A Ras knows true Dread and gives His all into the safekeepings of the Almighty
I n I take Rasponsibility for I life and power of I actions and let give I self to be led and dictated to by JahRastafarI -A true embodiment of the full Majesty of the God Most High
Jah is Mighty His power knows no limits, fear to Anger Him as that is the Most terrible of All
to live righteous is the best protection in this time
honesty, integrity, impeccability, humility, dignity, commitment, transparency, discipline, endurance, self/planet/culture and each-other honoring service to the Whole
Give thanks for the sharing

Beautiful words from all!
At this point in my life Rasta means to me...
Accepting those who are the way they are but not necessarily agreeing nor tolerating their lifestyles.
Loving all no matter what race or creed they are.
Being honest and truthful in my day to day dealings with all.
Trying to overcome and overstand the crimes of the past and why they happened.
Like Sistah Nyah, trying to be tolerant and overstanding of i own european ancestors.
Where is Jah to Me?
Everywhere. In the wind that blows through i trees and garden right now, to the bright sunny days and beyond. Jah is everywhere i go and i know and believe that.

Jah, is everywhere indeed!  I pray Jah to lead and guide me everyday as I must deal with very confused/lost people.  They are misguided in thinking that the very petty things in life are the most important.  I must walk away and not partake in this behavior.  I pray that my trodding a different higher path will be an inspiration to others.

Rastafari is having compassion, love and patience with others that are on their own path to trod.  Blessings to all on this board as you inspire me to higher ground!

Bless UP!
