« on: February 20, 2008, 08:41:15 PM »

what do you think of him?
an italian reggae singer who moves to jamaica for 6 years or so an now speaks/sings in patois with a thick accent.

i think his music is good, but a question on how real he is. cause i hear him talkin like he lived in jamaica his whole life then hes talkin in italian with a totally differnt voice.

Ises,
I don't know Alborosie personally but he meks boom tunes.  One could look at it as him having dual citizenship or him being bilingual.  Gentleman is the same way, he sounds totally different when he speaks german.  I am the same way when I play sound, I was raised to speak standard american english but I move as a Jamaican selecta because that's how I was taught the music.

Give Thanks

Alborosie seems to be speaking of what is true.  He produces music that can take you to higher meditation :o
