I view Babylon as the forces working against the worship of The One True God.

Babylon also is the central power of the NWO- that group I would call babylon incarnate whereas materialism and powerhunger might be forces of babylon...

That's just splitting hairs though.

I do believe that there is a vast, essentially socialist, conspiracy designed to bring the entire world under the subjugation of the "elite."
There's just too much evidence and too many coincidences to call it rantings of paranoid conspiracy theorists.

Paradoxically, though, violently fighting these forces lowers ourselves and makes us part of babylon.

In any case, you don't need a bus to get there. ;)

This is a good question cause nuff ones think when Rasta say babylon We mean "society" or government/ modern life seen? But that cant work since I and I know that His Majesty run the world. In the broadest sense Babylon is false conception of mind. This goes from the bottom to the top. There is no "babylon" organization because babylon means the lack of organization. Even the leader of the rat race is still a rat. Babylon the whore that keeps the world Ifused. Babylon means ignorance.

Babylon=living in falsehood, false CONceptions that keep we from living the Ivine perfection that Jah intends for we
Zion = perfect love, righteous living, freedom, peace, fullfillment, being true to your Essential Self that is always and forIvamore a cherished part and child of the Ivine Fadda and Mudda, being HOME, in the imovable and irrefutable truth and knowledge of Who the I really IS
and the constant, paradoxical change and yet alwaysness of the Self
grounded in reality, I and I have no fear only love and elation for the reality I and I have co-created
as it is I creation and beloved of I and I
so babylon is as I brudda Elijah states, ignorance of our true nature and therefore ignorant of the true nature of reality
trapped in matta we mistakenly think we are the flesh, bones, concepts, ego identity, wants and desires that we are taught to identify with
fear-based and vulnerable we are easily manipulated by perceived others who are also trapped in their own ignorance, fears and desires
In Zion we recognize and live our oneness with the Son/Spirit/Father/Ascended Ones/Higher civilizations etc and are constantly, sourced, guided by and provided for by our Jahful relationship that is beyond and above and takes precedence over body, mind, ego, time, circumstances, and liberates us Wholly, fully and completely.....

Blessings,
Exactly is a precise term.  When we think of Babylon, the first image is of a city/kingdom of those that do not follow or know Jah.  There is a King of Babylon that ruled/rules.
In todays collective there are those that know Jah and those that know, but choose willingly the path of the selfish.  The wicked.  Who is to Judge, but Jah?.
What, Exactly, Babylon is, is a Place ones choose.  It is in knowing what Jah require, and then  willingly walking the path of  The Self. Desire. Selfishness in the Face of Jah.  It is a faceless city, but known by its inhumanity.  Where there is  only darkness and never day.  It is a place of no denying, for it is a place acessable to All.  Only ones who feel the Light and turn from darkness are the ones to whom Freedom is known.
This Freedom is the opposite of Babylon, for sometimes we must look to the opposite of something to truely see its outline.  If ones see a place of freedom, and those that strive for its exsistance, then naturally we have the opposite of such a thing.  That would be Babylon.

babylon is the chains wrapped around our minds convincing us that it is the hand of god.

holy war-- thas babylon. babylon is a system that exploits mother earth and mines our spirits and call it progress. respect mother earth-- only for profit-- thas babylon.

babylon is a deathculture and religion is the bed we sleep on with ignorance pumped into us night and day.

babylon like this-- they build fences to separate us and then we walk around carrying the fence in our minds-- thas how they mine our spirits. we are they drones.

you see a beautiful mountain, babylon will blow it up if it has to for profit. someone come along and paint that same mountain on a canvas and babylon goes crazy over the talent and pure beauty of the painting, they pay millions of dollars for the drawing-- thas babylon

babylon is a vampire(empire) system someone once said.[juss how i see it]

Blessings all that posted.

Iman think of this because some Ras just generalize anything that is 'bad' as babylon.

There is some fantastic answers here, give thanks.

Iman see it as natty threads said, as a large 'conspiricy' A 'higher' government seeking and craveing control over everything, and this is very real. We look at the medical profession. All doctors wish to happen is for their patients to get better, but who is in control of the medical profession? Politiction? and whats after that?? They dont know god, so what they seeking??? all comes down to human greed. Babylon=greed power hungry

And MIND CONTROL! this is the thing we got to break free of the mental slavery of this. Becuase we are all dipping in it. We have to find our voice and REBEL. U see many Green, anti government protestors fighting for mother earth. This is a good thing, We as RAS men and womban, must rise up, Freedom fighters are here, revolutionaries are HERE!

Bless up

Tell We who's Government not higher but the highest? Who have all Ithority? The rest dem ting just illusions and vanity. That whole "conspiracy" business is usually racist and paranoid. Even still if you cant prove anything why even open your mouth. Just hype fear mongers. Ifusion, dog eat dog, chaos. There is no order, organization, or power outside g-d. Rastafari rules all creation. Babylon just a puff of mist.

Pondering, Elijah and Rootsridge.

The reasoning holds virtue.

Blessings,
The Kingdom of Heaven is all around?

For who? Rastafari yes. I and I conquer since before there was a problem.

Please ,could ones explain the flow of these thoughts?,  They way I man read this is; The kingdom of heaven is all around us.  Each of us, All of we.  There are , of course, those that do not see it.  But, Bredren Elijah's rasponce states Rastafari are the only ones.  what of people that do not culture to Rastafari?.  What of Hindu, Muslim, others?.
Next," I and I conquer since before there was a problem",  Is this because of a true heart with Jah and oneness?, before Adam and Eve, or, what problem is Bredren speaking on?.

Natty, we do not need a bus to get there, ;D
  Many humble thanks~

  >>>>> what of people that do not culture to Rastafari?.  What of Hindu, Muslim, others?.<<<<<

Rastafari Always did hold to a Ierarchy of teachment, thats why we say "Most High". One being "surrounded by the kingdom of heaven" depends pon dem realization. Who alone have grasp the fullness?

 >>>>>> Next," I and I conquer since before there was a problem",  Is this because of a true heart with Jah and oneness?, before Adam and Eve, or, what problem is Bredren speaking on?.<<<<<

Ah u know the little trouble, was dis sufferation everyday?  But who suffer? Know JAH and know yourself. Sufferation is illusion that I and I never bite. Before Adam, before Earth, We laugh at our own greatness.
