Terror in Gaza
« on: December 29, 2008, 11:19:12 AM »

The occupiers are at it again.

"Today's attacks were not unexpected and even Israel's Defense Minister admits that they have been planning and preparing for months. In fact, Ha'aretz is now reporting on the months of "deception", the "long-term preparation, careful gathering of information, secret discussions, operational deception and the misleading of the public " used to plan this attack. After provoking a renewal of rocket attacks, Israel tightened the existing blockade to keep all supplies out of Gaza as well as foreign journalists - and then began a series of raids and small incursions which inevitably led to more rocket attacks. It's very hard to see today's actions as anything more than the next phase of an Israeli government plan to provoke Hamas and use the resulting rocket attacks as a pretext for a full blown attack on Gaza."

Israel's existence provokes Hamas.

I might occur to me not to start a gunfight if all I had was a tableknife.

Hamas has been bombing Israel.
What was Israel supposed o do?

Wait for Hamas to decide Israel has a right to exist?

Wow, please state how Israel provoked Hamas Rockets. By wanting to have a Jewish population? For being a safe refuge for all persecuted Jews around the world after ww2?

There are countless UN resolutions against Israel. Pick one.

That's an insufficient answer since the UN has already gone back on its word in its dealings with Israel.

The UN played an important role in the creation of Israel. I think it's greedy to turn around and say, no we want more.

The UN helped reestablish Israels modern state. His Imperial Majesty "Created Israel". The 67' borders are a consequence of Israel being attacked by the 4 surrounding Muslim countries simultaneously. Of course no one was asking the UN either.

Israel is not trying to take more land.

Israel is trying to stop the rockets coming her way from land she already seceded.

Israel is not trying to take anything.
Israel already gave up the land the Palestinians are living on.
It is Hamas that wants more.
It is Hamas being greedy.

The UN may well be the single most corrupt government ever in existence.
What the UN says is mud.

Yeah what was I thinking in trying to explain the situation with the borders to someone who would still be running his mouth about Israel if "G-d HIMself came down" and told Him otherwise.

The UN might be corrupt yet the core idea of respect for human beings is not bad.
