do rastas let things go or contemplate them?
« on: March 04, 2009, 05:08:06 AM »

sorry i have a new interest in the Rastafarian  religion, i go to a catholic school but do not agree with some of the things taught.  one of the main things we are taught in religion class is when something bad happens or we feel guilt we should write it out and say a prayer to God asking for help.  im curious as to what a rasta does when faced a bad situation.  sorry if the post is confusing i could not think of a better way to write it

Bless up,
most of us would probably say we do more or less the same. i always pray for guidance, but i dont write it down, which is probably a technique they teach you as a youth to be able to make things clear in your head. i think you will find that people of all faiths will follow more or less the same patterns when faced with the same situation.
