dreading hair

im growing my hair to get dreads but i was wondering will my hair dread if itz in cornrows

no it wont..it's too close to the scalp. dread tend to form from the ends, not the roots. if you section it and plait it it will, but its better to just let it go nappy.. thats if you have afro hair. if its european, you have to intervene somewhat, or just never comb it. how you dread it depends on the reason for having them in the first place as Ras tend not to do it artificially, patience being the whole point.

im mixed race and my growz out lyk afro hair but itz curly
