It's like you said.
You have yourself worked up about it.
The direction of your thoughts is one you have chosen
and it is you who can change them.
Anyone can let themselves slide down a negative slipery slope.
Now you need to climb out of the pit you've fallen into.
Chose to make this a learning experience.
You have done something you regret and that probably
means you will not repeat it, now move on and put that
learning to good use.
We all make mistakes, learning and growing from them
is the key to growth.

In the grand scheme of things is jayanno's action going to change the world
no
In the realm of his existance has it had an affect on him
yes it has
There is one thing that bothers me about the responses I see from others here. A lack of compassion for someone elses feelings.
It is obvious that if you did the same thing it wouldn't bother you at all
and that is fine.
The problem is you're no seeing this from his perspective.
The fact that it obviously has had a profound effect on him should matter in your reponse to him.
The only real way to help anyone is to look outside how we feel about an issue and see it from their perspective.
Unfortunately this is the way most people approach others in every situation.
Haven't we seen enough on this forum how when a person expects everyone else to view things from their perspective it just causes strife and nothing is solved.
I think the issue I'm addressing at this time goes beyond the somking of the bible but is an inherent problem in why most people in the world just can't get along.
most of us spend to much time expecting everyone to see life like we do.
How bout if we spend more time being willing to life from others perspective
Maybe then we might have a chance at ONE LOVE
please just think about it

Jah bless all

True words that we should place our views in the light of the seeker.  Only with compassion and wisdom do we show the Love that supports the truth which is Universal.

Brother Jambo,  perhaps it is a way to liberate the passage smoked.  Absorb the wisdom of the page and maybe not look at it as a loss, but something that has elevated the meaning into something that is to be used.   What passage was it?, how was the experience?.

It will do no good to punish the self for this, as with all things, there is something to be gained in Iveryting we do.  find it, and let us know.
